There is a battery installed. However, until I pulled it out and re-installed it, nothing worked. It is a very tight fit and you must push the tiny tab to help remove the battery cartridge. Other than that I'll add pictures later, if possible, to show the lights working. The sticky side does not hold well. There needs to be 4 options for recommendation. Like "maybe" and "MEH." Mas o menos.
