I'm so glad that I found this freezer because no one absolutely no one had any freezers to be had. I'm very thankful that I thought to look at Best Buys and for them to have one for me to to purchase I was no total shock. Only freezer I could find of this size.

I can see where it would make a great second refrigerator also since it has both modes. Only negative is there’s no door lock

The temperature display on the freezer door is very convenient. The only downside is that because of COVID-19, the delivery people dropped the freezer off in the garage, left the cardboard on it and left. They also were not allowed to remove the old broken freezer. This was, however, explained to us ahead of time.

Horrible Service

Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Freezer worked Ok for about 15 months had first cooling issue then reset it I am now at 26 months it will not cool anymore. I called for service knowing I am outside the 24 month Insignia window stated I knew I would have to pay but I wanted it looked at. Advised the only way to have it repaired would be to bring it into the store. (*side note I had this delivered I am a single mom I am going to have to find someone to help me load it to bring it in) Just restocked it after Hurricane Helene too so the fact that they will not repair regardless of paying or not is ridiculous. Dont forget Insignia is best buy owned and only one able to do the repairs!

The upright didn’t makes it easy to find what I’m looking for. I bought some freezer baskets and organization is great! The beeping alarm it makes of left open is also useful.

My only complaint, which isn't really a complaint, is that the seal is so good that when open the freezer and the whole thing moves. I need to get some shims to keep from moving. So, if my sarcasm wasn't picked up, the seal being so tight is a great thing.
