    Bought this when my 40 year old freezer went out during a hurricane. Wasn’t sure how a freezer/refrigerator would work but so far,so good.

    Buy a more reliable brand. I purchased this freezer and was impressed at first but 13 months later, just after the warranty expired, this unit stopped working. I had a service company try to come out and help fix it but they said it could not be repaired and would need to be replaced. I tried to speak with Best Buy to see if they could honor their name brand product and was told that they could try to repair it for a fee. In speaking with the repair technician they advised to go with a more reputable brand as Insignia does not stand by their brand and you will be left with a bunch of spoiled food!
