Called manufacturer who told me to return it. Best Buy customer service couldn't just order an exchange so I have to pack it back up and return it and order a new one meaning I had to pay for two of them while I wait for my return. Not to mention extra 1 hr round trips to return and pick up a new one. Complete headache. Won't order anything from Best Buy again.

Unfortunately, it only illuminates when the door is opened or when setting temperature, then goes out. Two year old similar model I have displays temperature all the time.
