It’s a freezer. A no frills, simple freezer with good capacity and it works. Exactly what I was seeking.

Great convertiable fridge/freezer. Door beeps every time you open it and there is no option to turn it off, can be annoying.

Great space very nice inside. Love the shelves and side door compartments.

Works great, could not do without it. Never had a problem in our really hot summers.

We purchased this Refrigerator/Freezer a year ago and just when it’s warranty went up.. it totally stopped cooling and doesn't work. Buyer beware. I read the reviews on Best Buy and opted to purchase it thinking it was a good choice, but I failed to look at all the complaints it has on the Consumer report side! Best buy wasn’t really helpful as well. They told me to buy their geek protection and just as I was going to do so, someone comes back on the phone and says the protection covers all appliances except Refrigerators! Horrible!

The freezer came promptly after the purchase; the only issue was the delivery guys discovered a large dent after unwrapping it. The delivery guys were professional call in the problem and I was given a discount. The freezer seems to be working fine so far.

Happy with my purchase so far. I'll see how this freezer stands up during the cold winter days. I will do an update in the near future. Meanwhile, if somebody at best buy is reading this, kindly send me a hardcopy of my extended warranty.

Item was delivered with minor cosmetic damage but in perfect working order. Best Buy contacted me same day with options to satisfy me. Ended up taking a discount vs. exchanging since the unit worked perfectly. Very satisfied.

When I ordered this product, there was no mention on the website that it was back ordered. I received the link to schedule the delivery. However, I was unable to schedule and called the number that was provided. The rep I spoke to was unable to schedule the delivery and did not know why she was unable to schedule. She told me she was sending a ticket for someone to call me back, which no one ever called. I called this morning and spoke to a rep who was telling me I could not get that freezer or we can wait and see... Yeah, that won't work for me. After a little while, he was able to tell me the manufacturer responded, and the product was not available until February. He then sent a ticket to management to call me. At that time, I called the sales team and switched to the white version that could be delivered next week and cancel the back ordered freezer. Management then called me back offering to switch me to sales which I already did and asked me if I wanted to cancel the stainless steel freezer that was already supposed to be canceled from when I spoke to the sales team. I never experienced such a run around buying an appliance and experienced such poor customer service in the process. This who experience has been a joke.

We've used Insignia products for a long time and when it came time to replace our garage refrigerator and freezer there was no choice. Best Buy had what we needed in stock and delivered it promptly-no muss, no fuss. and at a good price too.

Great buy! Very happy with purchase. Pickup was very quick and easy. Freezer was easy to set up and works very well . I especially like the exterior digital display. The unit seems larger than anticipated which is a pleasant bonus. Would recommend to others.

Nice refrigerator. Minimal prep work setting up the door handles and removing all the packing. Initial freezing took two hours to achieve and started stocking after 24 hours. We will how long it lasts

So far am really happy. I needed to replace a 30 year old refrigerator and now have the advantage of using it as a freezer when I need to clean my chest freezer. I have only had it for a month, but so far so good.

I gave this a 2 because the design is really good with the glass shelves, space and handle. If only it was reliable!!! The first one we bought was wildly off on temperature. We called to replace it and they said the white wouldn't be in for 2 months. Since it is a garage freezer, we said fine and thought maybe a silver made at a different location would be better. Iy has never had the correct temperature. It is always 4-7 degrees off. We ahve tried two different freezer thermometers. Our latest problem is we just had a power outage and the freezer would no kick in after the power came back on. An hour after the power came back on, the freezer was now 25 degrees. we tried unplugging it, changing the temperature, etc. Finally my husband changed it to refrigerator mode and then back to freezer and it is now running. I have no confidense that this will last 10+ years like our 2 Frigidaires!
