We upgraded from a 5 cubic foot chest freezer to this upright. Being a convertible and garage ready is an added bonus should you want to change its purpose.

We were looking for an upright freezer to stock up on some frozen food during the coronavirus lock-down, and after comparing them, we elected to get this 17 Cu. Ft. frost-free freezer. It seems that it is more spacious inside than a 19 or 21 cu. ft. And it is convertible use freezer...either use it as a freezer or as a refrigerator. Love this alternative.

Great Fridge, space saver, low electricity consumpsion

I bought this fridge for my garage setup, and it’s been perfect so far. There’s plenty of interior space to store everything I need, and it consistently keeps everything cold without ever feeling like it's running hot. I primarily use it in refrigerator mode, and it hasn’t let me down. The quality feels solid, and it seems well-built. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend it.

We bought this exact model 3 years back and one more last month. Since it is convertible, we are using one as a Freezer and second as a Refrigerator. Both are placed in the garage. First one has worked without any problems so we bought another. They are functional with plenty of storage room, very energy efficient, and look great. Price is very competitive. I would recommend this model to anyone.

Love that it can be a fridge or a freezer. Great for parties

When Covid struck, I rushed out to buy a stand up freezer from Best Buy, that would put really well. Now I had a freezer and my old fridge in the garage. Once the fridge died, I went out to see what Best Buy had. I knew that they had stand up freezers, but what I really wanted was a stand up fridge, without a built in freezer. I was really surprised to hear that “convertible” unit existed, where it can be a freezer or a fridge, with a touch a button! We’ve been very happy with our purchase, we have the unit running as a fridge. Delivery and haul away was a breeze. Would definitely buy again.

I need to see it for a couple of days to judge properly

I use this as a fridge for now, I’d like to get another! This fridge is roomy and I love it! The only thing that concerns me is the handle. I have seen other reviews regarding the handle and it makes me nervous. I’d much rather have an integrated side grab handle. This was a good value, I purchased a small chest freezer several years ago and it is still running great.

I usually lean towards the big brands, but this surprised me. It works really well. Unfortunately, the freezer had a ding in the front door when it arrived, but other than that, the door has suction on it which ensures it is sealed tight, and there is plenty of space. I went on a huge Costco run and it fits everything I bought and more.

My family and I adore this freezer/fridge combo. Having the ability to alternate its functions gives us the flexibility to use it for freezer storage goods or if we have a large family cook out and need the extra fridge space. Its aesthetic also matches with my other appliances and I couldn’t be happier. My favorite feature is the door alarm because my kids occasionally don’t close it and having the security of the alarm to remind me or them is perfect.

I have had two of these units for 5 months now. One of the units that i received when I first ordered them made a funny noise like a quieter version of our old compressor that went bad so I called Best Buy and even though it was a few days past the replacement warranty they still replaced it. I was very impressed with their service. All is well now and I love these units. And what a great price. I did extensive (hours and hours) research trying to find units that were less deep than the regular refrigerator depth and these had the best reviews. The other frigidaire and whirlpool models had terrible reviews for 5 times the cost! I only wish the door opening could be switched to the right side and I wish it had the option to add an ice maker. I would be willing to pay more for those options. That would make them perfect!
