Bought this as an extra fridge for frozen meal prep. It can be a fridge or freezer. The door is reversible. Does NOT sweat on the inside. This is a full fridge size so plan for the space. The door has an alarm if you leave the fridge open. temperature gauge right on the front. The white color looks very sterile (kinda like a lab fridge) so I just made a picture collage and covered it up. This has been a perfect addition to my household and worth every penny!

Very nice freezer to meet your needs for extra storage of frozen food. Nice design specifically for garages where there a wide range of external temps. The seal is quite strong and I have seen little condensation build since it was installed 3 weeks ago. Nice deep bottom bins as well as in the door with a light that helps you find things at night Nice outside control panel to show temp settiong.

Insignia brand is amazing! Love this and the option to make it a fridge or freezer with ease of temperature change. Had BB deliver and set up. Great customer service!

This is a very nice unit as it allows you to use it either as a fridge or a freezer. (I really like the concept and convenience of these) Nicely made! I bought 2 for my garage one is a freezer and the other a fridge. Both are working great!

I have the same one but bigger that I use as a freezer, and bought this one for the garage as a fridge. WHat a cool option to be able to switch from freezer to fridge, plus it was very affordable

Using this as a freezer in our main garage, looks great, the screen is helpful for monitoring. Exactly the storage we need for our 1/2 beef purchases and other meats. I have owned it since 11/9/2024 and am posting this 12/21/24.

This freezer is perfect for our needs. Plenty of shelf space, the two bottom drawers are spacious, and the side panels offer more storage. Highly recommend.

This Large capacity upright freezer has been going strong for just under 3 years in our garage, it is garage ready by the way and all freezers are not. We have a matching one also running in refrigerator mode. Great there too!

My husband and I recently purchased the Insignia (17 Cu. Ft.) Garage Ready Upright Fridge/Freezer and I couldn't be happier! This freezer is an excellent value for the price...it has a sleek design and some impressive features including adjustable glass shelves, sturdy shelving in the doors and a stainless steel finish. In addition, the setup and delivery was outstanding. The team of 2 was incredibly friendly and professional! They arrived on time and handled everything with care, making sure everything was perfect before leaving...I honestly, wish I could include their names. Though I've only had this freezer for a few weeks, I highly recommend this freezer to anyone who is into food prep like myself and is looking for a quality purchase and excellent service!

So far, so good. Bought this for the garage and my husband is very happy. If it winters well, he will be even happier!! Using as a fridge, but nice that it has the freezer option.

The freezer looks nice and works well. I like having the option to switch between fridge and freezer if my needs change later on. The size is fine (one more shelf would be nice though). Being able to set the temp without opening the door is nice. Overall, it's a good fridge so far. The main problem is not being able to switch the door swing. I know there's a wire in the hinge going to the front panel which is why it's single swing only. But it seems like an easy fix to add a plug+socket at the hinge on both sides to accommodate both swing directions. I'm lucky this is just a "garage freezer" so I had a little more freedom in my positioning, but having a fixed swing is a deal breaker for a lot of people. It just seems like a simple fix to almost double their perspective customers.

I've had this Fridge for 2 weeks, so far so good. Internal lighting is good, door seal works great. Having temperature control on front is nice. Your food can accidentally turn the temp control knob. Door open alarm is nice also. One drawback, the door shelves are a bit narrow. Some items, like mayo and 2qt milk jugs just barely fit, have to force slightly them in.

Best purchase I've made yet... Love it ..I bought a new fridge with the freezer on the bottom and never thought about the fact that we would have to take everything out if we needed a item on the bottom so I bought the separate freezer that fits right next to mine and it's perfect .tons of room don't have to dig through to get what i want .I love ❤️

We've had it for a month and so far we haven't been disappointed. The freezer has lots of room for storage. The Plus is if we need a frigerator, you can change the settings from freezer to refrigerator.

I tried to get a freezer since early march, but it seemed to be impossible to get a quality unit at an acceptable price point. Like most people, I first was up for GE or Whirlpool, but that's just not possible, at the end of April was a batch of Frigidaire freezers available, I ordered it, but the reviews were devastating. So keep looking and found this one ready for pick up, canceled the frigidaire, and got this unit picked up. All the reviews seemed pretty good and I trust BestBuy Brand cause they usually cooperate with good manufactures. After all, I can only say this is a legit freezer. Its spacious, silent, freezing temp is constant in all racks, everything feels sturdy and good. I am very very happy with it and highly recommend this freezer.

We got our combo fridge/freezer and so far it is exactly what we wanted! We are using it as an extra freezer and it is definately doing its job. Keeping everything nice and frozen!
