Compared to my chest freezer, this is way better. Lots of shelf space and the door slots are great. I don't expect to not find food that's years old like in the chest freezer. I am very satisfied.

The Insignia Convertible Freezer purchased in March is very satisfactory. The aluminum color I love because of the shade which is not high gloss.Inside door and shelving is very spacious. It fits perfectly in the garage...with all features that alert if something is wrong. I love it.

This is a good product for a 2nd (back-up) refrigerator or freezer. Be aware this is not a combination refrigerator and freezer, it only offers one mode. There is one temperature setting for the entire unit, so it becomes either a stand alone frig or freezer. One downside is the door shelves are quite small. They will not hold anything larger than a quart sized container of milk, and the shelf height is not adjustable. Would give this unit 3.5 stars if had that option.

I have been wanting a freezer and I saw this one that's a refrigerator and freezer.I love it so far.keeps everything frozen.also I have a lot of room for more food.love the shelves and more room on the door.well worth the money. If your on the fence about this freezer,just get it you won't be disappointed at all

LOVE THIS! We use it as a fridge since we already had a full size freezer. It's kept in our garage, not problems on the heat causing issues with performance (we live in New Orleans). It was reasonably priced. The size is perfect! The only thing I wish was different was finding the availability on this product. It took daily checks on the app/website over 6+ months to finally find the product available in our area for delivery or pickup. Spoke with a wonderful sales associate at our local store who said it's all about luck and timing of deliveries. Our luck paid off and this bad buy is fully stocked with all our overflows from the inside fridge. Would buy again!!

I bought this as a garage freezer. So far it has performed flawlessly. My wife finds it a little difficult to open the door. It takes a bit of a tug to get it open. I wish the shelves we’re adjustable, but the arrangement works ok. I put items in cardboard boxes on the shelves so they don’t all slide out when the door is opened. The shelves are glass. Would be better if they were made of a metal mesh, but since this can be used as a refrigerator as well, the shelves are acceptable.

This Freezer is affordable and Perfect for our needs and works great!

Only had this for a month. Using it as a freezer. It works well. Everything is definitely very frozen. The door needs to be pushed closed completely, however, if for some reason you don’t close it completely, it will ding constantly until you figure out where the dinging is coming from and close it (annoying but great feature). I would recommend it. It’s got a clean appearance and the spacious room inside holds a lot of things of different shapes and sizes.

This freezer is just what we needed. After digging out of a chest freezer for 4 years, we need something much more readily available to grab and go, plus the size is awesome. The feature to convert it to either freezer or refrigerator is an added bonus.

Aesthetics are there and surprised how large inside it was. I thought I would have been a lot smaller. it does the job. Best function to be able to switch from freezer and refrigerator. My wife absolute loves it for our bulk meats and keeps the frozen solid.

This is a perfect garage freezer. For me, I will continue to use it as a freezer but it can be a refrigerator instead which is a great option. The size is perfect with good storage inside.

I have already done the homework on freezers for you, so look no further, this "is" the freezer. Nice looks, nice interior, nice lighting, and best of all the best price! This is actually manufactured by Haier and Chinese company (as where most appliances are made). Haier manufactures all GE appliances which are generally well made and rated. Put the GE and Insignia next to each other and they will look identical, the only difference is you will pay way more for a GE appliance. I have only had this freezer now for a month or so and it works as advertised. Any issues that come up in the future I'll be sure to update this review
