We had to swap a defected one: and Best Buy was on it! Sent a same model no defect. The delivery guys I hope they get a bonus!

Works even better if you actually have food items you need to freeze. The frozen food helps maintain the temperature of the freezer. I keep it at the -11°F setting. Only have two settings for freezer, 0° and -11°. There is no ice buildup inside or outside of the freezer, or on the food. And the door seal is rather strong. So its not like its going to open real easily. But, I like that. Let's me know if there is a seal leak.

My new purchase was put through a test within the 1st week. There was a 12 hour power shortage and all the food was still frozen solid. Amazing!!!!!

I love the fact that it can also be a refrigerator if we change the temperature settings. It is very spacious and i likenthe 2 drawers at the bottom for storage. I highly recommend this freezer!

We use it as a freezer. Even bought the smaller 13 cu ft one for a fridge in the garage. They’re both awesome for our needs. I have noticed I haven’t heard the alarm for the door staying open on the smaller one. Not sure if it has that function or not but the larger one notifies you if the door is left open.

I like the fact that if we decide we don’t need the extra freezer space we can flip a switch and have an extra refrigerator.
