It's been the perfect garage fridge for overflow and parties. So far, so good.

Got for my son for his college dorm, it has nice size and holds quite a few items. He said it runs very quiet

I previously had a chest freezer and was constantly losing food due to no shelves. This upright freezer is a life saver. We love it.

The ability to switch from freezer to fridge is perfect for a garage fridge. We've had it for over 7 months and have no complaints so far. I'm pleased with the purchase.

Will not keep temperature while set to refrigerator. Maintains at near 50 degrees and I have to continually switch to freezer to get the temp down. The fridge does not even kick on and try to cool. The high temperature alarm has yet to ever go off, even with the temperature being that high. When on freezer, it at least is below freezing, but stays a minimum of 8 degrees above what the thermostat is set to. Have been in contact with Insignia. They pushed for me to exchange it with Best Buy claiming I received a faulty unit, but Best Buy will not deliver to me area, and after already spending the money on the Convertible Freezer, over $100 in fuel to drive to the store, over $80 for a trailer rental, plus the money wasted on the food and dairy that I have had to throw out and it being the holiday season, I do not have the funds for another trailer rental and trip down there. So supposedly working on a manufacturer warranty claim but have heard nothing else and feel like I’m getting the run around.

This is my second convertible freezer/refrigerator of this brand and I love it.

This freezer has plenty of space. Also love the alarm on the freezer. I didn't close the door back tight and it alerted me that it was not closed. Wonderful feature.

Giving 4 stars sense just getting this product but thus far supper cold presets for freezer function. Tones of room for storage and also love bottom drawers for storing vegetables. Product also quite well built heavy hinged door and super quiet.

Really great product, it is either a freezer or a fridge, you can choose. Door is a little hard to open, but it seals great.

Needed a freezer and this is what was available. Was surprised it can also be a refrigerator.

We bought this freezer a month ago and are very happy with it. We set it up around 2 pm and started filling it about 5 hours later. We stacked 10 quart-sized freezer bags with 2 fresh boneless chicken breasts each and 15 more with 4 thinly sliced pork loin chops a pop, 2 quart-sized ice cream tubs, 2 frozen pies and a few other smaller frozen boxes as well . The next morning a few of the meat packages were soft frozen and the rest very cold but by the next day everything was rock solid. My only pet peeve is that it has a vacuum seal so tight it's hard to open but that does not merit one less star.

I bought this to replace my chest freezer that was working fine. However, with this unit, you can see everything you have without going on a treasure hunt like the chest freezer. I was able to have a shelf for beef, pork, and chicken. Plenty of space. You still need to flatten whatever you’re freezing so it will stack. The shelves have no lip on them to keep food on the shelf.

Have used it for both a frig and a freezer and both work great. Lots of capacity as holds an entire side of beef (1/2 of total cow) and still room for a little more.

Excellent fridge/Freezer. I bought 2 and made one the freezer and the other the fridge. They work great! No complaints. Happy with my purchase.
