HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I purchased the Insignia 17 CU convertible upright freezer over the internet. I called Best Buy for assistance because the user manual is not clear. Instead of answering basic questions, they tried to SELL ME A WARRANTY. When I pointed out that this is not the right time to solicit additional products, they tried to sell me ANOTHER product -- a Geek Squad service contract. Their staff do not provide support for customers. I was not able to obtain assistance for the product I just purchased.

It is great to have a refrigerator in garage. Was is also nice as this unit can be converted to a freezer as well.

Like the space in the freezer and the drawers for special items

I like the amount of space in this refrigerator/freezer.

We got this to replace a chest freezer we had in the garage and this unit is great. So far, it is working how it is supposed to. We have little kids and now they are able to open it and get ice cream or help us get food from the freezer. The alarm is not too loud but does help for those times when the kids don’t close the door all the way.

It’s a freezer. A no frills, simple freezer with good capacity and it works. Exactly what I was seeking.

Bought this item twice. The first one last year as just a frig and the other one we just purchased again as a freezer in the garage. Working out fantastic. Perfect amount of space for a family of 4. The doors suction close a little more then they need too making it a bit of a struggle to open but overall great frig and freezer

Freezes great, however still waiting for customer service to get back to me regarding replacing the broken drawer slide/bottom shelf support. I purchased this freezer just 4 weeks ago. These items were found broken when I unpackaged the freezer. The packaging did NOT shown any damage, it was not beat up at all, but still broken inside.

Works great, could not do without it. Never had a problem in our really hot summers.

Great convertiable fridge/freezer. Door beeps every time you open it and there is no option to turn it off, can be annoying.

The freezer came promptly after the purchase; the only issue was the delivery guys discovered a large dent after unwrapping it. The delivery guys were professional call in the problem and I was given a discount. The freezer seems to be working fine so far.

When I ordered this product, there was no mention on the website that it was back ordered. I received the link to schedule the delivery. However, I was unable to schedule and called the number that was provided. The rep I spoke to was unable to schedule the delivery and did not know why she was unable to schedule. She told me she was sending a ticket for someone to call me back, which no one ever called. I called this morning and spoke to a rep who was telling me I could not get that freezer or we can wait and see... Yeah, that won't work for me. After a little while, he was able to tell me the manufacturer responded, and the product was not available until February. He then sent a ticket to management to call me. At that time, I called the sales team and switched to the white version that could be delivered next week and cancel the back ordered freezer. Management then called me back offering to switch me to sales which I already did and asked me if I wanted to cancel the stainless steel freezer that was already supposed to be canceled from when I spoke to the sales team. I never experienced such a run around buying an appliance and experienced such poor customer service in the process. This who experience has been a joke.

Happy with my purchase so far. I'll see how this freezer stands up during the cold winter days. I will do an update in the near future. Meanwhile, if somebody at best buy is reading this, kindly send me a hardcopy of my extended warranty.

Item was delivered with minor cosmetic damage but in perfect working order. Best Buy contacted me same day with options to satisfy me. Ended up taking a discount vs. exchanging since the unit worked perfectly. Very satisfied.

We purchased this Refrigerator/Freezer a year ago and just when it’s warranty went up.. it totally stopped cooling and doesn't work. Buyer beware. I read the reviews on Best Buy and opted to purchase it thinking it was a good choice, but I failed to look at all the complaints it has on the Consumer report side! Best buy wasn’t really helpful as well. They told me to buy their geek protection and just as I was going to do so, someone comes back on the phone and says the protection covers all appliances except Refrigerators! Horrible!

We've used Insignia products for a long time and when it came time to replace our garage refrigerator and freezer there was no choice. Best Buy had what we needed in stock and delivered it promptly-no muss, no fuss. and at a good price too.

The delivery was great, on time and very professional. The product serves its purpose
