Perfect for garage as 2nd fridge but also can change to a freezer in case our freezer dies so we do not lose food. We are assuming insulation is great for extreme garage conditions since it needs to be able to act as a freezer. Very pleased after a month.

I’ve had for over 6 months now and it doesn’t frost at all, great USABLE space. I have a feeling this is the one that’s gonna last me many many years. I can control the temperatures front the front gage and it’s relatively quite ( I have it in my kitchen) I’m extremely happy with my purchase and really appreciate everyone at best buy for making the purchasing process so easy.

I have a deep freezer so I could have a larger refrigerator storage. The temperature stays within 2 degrees of the setting with my thermometer I keep inside and I have had it almost a month and am totally satisfied.

Refrigerator only which doesn't really exist in the market place especially with major manufacturers. This is called a 'convertible' as you can make it 100% freezer if you choose. Nice, spacious shelf and drawer arrangement. Insignia has several sizes.

Door shelves are good size and closed-in so nothing falls out the bottom, like they did with our previous freezer. Readable digital display on front allows you to monitor inside temp as well as door open and power off alert. “Garage ready” (with large temp range) to withstand temps in a garage rather than a climate controlled house. No plans to use the convertible feature to use as a refrigerator, but you never know.

The only thing that concerns me is the handle. I have seen other reviews regarding the handle and it makes me nervous. I’d much rather have an integrated side grab handle. This was a good value, I purchased a small chest freezer several years ago and it is still running great.

The freezer is huge with lots of space. It didn't take long to cool down enough for freezing. Very Happy with my purchase.
