We were looking for a backup freezer to replace our 40 year old one that just died. Very spacious. It seems quiet. My only concern is what happens when power is lost. No one seemed to have a positive answer. I verified that it maintains its temperature settings even through an extended power outage.

We decided to use the 13.8 Cu Ft version as a refrigerator in our garage and purchased the 17 Cu Ft version as a freezer for our garage. We love that they are convertible. So far they work perfect!

Works great, price was easily within budget and you can switch between freezer and fridge at the touch of a button.

I spent over a month looking for a freezer for the garage and finally found this one. I was skeptical at first, only because it was available, but I'm glad that I bought it! The quick freeze optional is superb if you have something that you need frozen QUICK! No complaints so far so I definitely reccomend this one.
