Bought this to replace an ex-house refer. Didn't know there were differences between in house and garage refrigerators. The old one couldn't cool low enough and ran all the time. This Insignia is quiet and hold temp where set. Very spacious inside and looks compact on the outside. Hardly hear it running even when the temp gets over 100 degrees. Good price and good service, I would buy again and do recommend to others.

The price was good and the delivery guys did me a huge favor by flipping the door orientation. Like others have said though, there are some problems with this fridge. Besides the fact that the freezer door doesn't close automatically, the biggest problem is that the fridge doesn't get cold enough, even on the lowest setting. And the noises this thing makes are ridiculous. Sometimes it makes underwater whale noises, and sometimes it groans like an old man returning soup at a deli. I would have returned it if it wasn't such a hassle. I wish I had my 20 year old GE back.

We were looking for an inexpensive fridge to replace an old second fridge that died. We needed a quick, cheap solution. It works - keeps everything g nice and cold and/or frozen but the quality is lacking. There are wire shelves instead of tempered glass (I didn’t think they made wire shelves anymore) which I really do not like - small bottles/items placed on the shelves are not stable, and any spills would be a disaster; there are limited options for setting shelf height; there is a strange “groaning” noise that the fridge or condenser makes. Sounds like a ghost In pain. Very strange. Otherwise, it does the trick. I would not want this to be my primary fridge and if I need another 2nd fridge, I will likely order up.

I love the color, storage is good wipes clean and keeps stuff cold

We wanted a second fridge for our basement, so we didn’t need anything fancy, just a fridge and this fits the bill. We were hesitant to buy an Insignia refrigerator without being able to see one in the store first, but this was such a good deal and wasn’t going to be our primary refrigerator so we took the risk. I’m so glad we did, as this is just as good as any of the more expensive similar models I have seen, so spending the extra money would’ve been a waste. There aren’t really a lot of clever features to brag about here since this is a very basic model, but if that’s what you are looking for (as we were), you will be very satisfied with this one. It does it’s job quietly and it isn’t ugly.

It's the perfect size, lots of room inside! Easy to move for cleaning. Doesn't use a lot of electricity either!

Purchased this for my daughter. Fit perfectly in her kitchen. The black looks great and has lots of room.

Great for the price. Makes weird sounds on and off though. Looks nice and holds a ton!

Overall this is a good value. I did notice however after using for a few days that there is no suction when you close the doors of this refrigerator so there is a greater chance of leaving the door open. It is quiet and seems to work well overall. I would recommend this if you need a simple freezer and refrigerator combo.

perfect size, enough room for multiple items, easy to access

Like many other people I read about in the reviews of this fridge being in their garage, we’ll that’s what we got it for. We think it’s the perfect size for storing drinks and other fridge stuff we just don’t need that much. It took a few days to really get in in the hot garage but it’s super cold now.

We bought this in an emergency. During the covid stores we low on food. We had a freezer out that was empty because of a house remodel. The contractor unplugged it to use power tools. They forgot to plug it in. Everything was ruined. I cleaned it plugged it in a went shopping. We came back the freezer was dead. This refrigerator was the only thing we could find. No freezers anywhere to be found. The fridge was delivered promptly. It works great but we bought it primarily for the freezer but the fridge is useful. The low rating for the fridge is on the inside there is wire shelves and not glass. Smaller thing RIP over because of the wire shelves. Should be glass.

We bought this refrigerator to replace an old one we had in our garage where we were storing drinks and overflow items from our main fridge in the house. This one is perfect for that purpose. It's just the right size and is doing a great job of keeping items we have in it cold and as well as frozen.

Good purchase. This is a simple and functional fridge. Really nice fridge light. Great size for a smaller space. Delivery and installation were great. They worked very quickly. Only con, is the occasional fridge sounds it makes every few minutes. Otherwise, good product!

We bought this for an extra fridge and freezer in the basement . So far working out great !!! The only thing is it has the racks for food no plastic or glass shelves . So bottles are kind of wobbly on the shelf . It’s for water , pop and beer so we just put them in plastic crates . Works out fine for a second ftidge .

I am replacing a garage refrigerator so when shopping was not locked into a "brand". Saw the Best Buy brand refrigerator. The size and price fit in with my budget. So I decided to give it a go! I'm really glad that I did. It is perfect (so far). I would definitely recommend based on my 30 day trial.

Freezer is keeping food froze without being noisy. Meat and ice cream are frozen, not soft. The refrigerator keeps drinks cold and all beverage cold with 2 liter bottles falling over because of the heavy duty wire shelf combined with pointy bottoms of soda bottles due to 4 ridges on their bottom. Ice tea and milk gallons work best on the shelf because of the flat bottoms. So put the 2 liters in the door shelves. One drawback is carbonation is lost with door shutting...if you have kids. Note; if you bang the fridge door shut - it can cause freezer door to pop open. Be a closer not a slammer. Oh yes the price was a closer as it is a 2nd refrigerator in our house. And do not forget the 3 yr. warranty with Best Buy. Get that peace of mind regardless of model choice. So sorry its not American at this price it had to be made overseas. ( I know as a relative got an LG from a competitor H... ..... and within 2 months that gem died just before Thanksgiving. No fridge nor repair service in our area to make it good , and spoiled food. Returned with opposition but H_ did make good.

Decent small fridge. Works well in an apartment with a small kitchen. Not loving the wire shelves. Light is a little dim for the size of the fridge. I dont know about the reviews about cat noises, this fridge is very quiet.

Excellent refrigerator for the price. The shelving is not glass it’s just racks but will work fine for what I want the refrigerator for. I went in looking for a refrigerator for my garage and was very happy to find a reasonably priced one in black. I have it in my garage as a second fridge and it works great. For the price it’s a great deal!

Got this to replace a 25 year old fridge that want safely cooling. Is in my garage as 2nd. Use mostly for drinks, and freezer for addl. Items that don't fit in main fridge. Does have some weird noises as noted in other posts but keeps temp well and not a bother to me. Great price too.
