Great freezer-refrigerator!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased over a month ago for a 2nd refrigerator to keep in the garage. Great value for the size and price. Looked at used ones at used appliance stores and for little more money we got a brand new one at Best Buy.

Great deal for the money
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this fridge. A lot of room inside with nice wide racks in the door, glass shelves and humidity controls in the bottom bins. Plenty of storage room in fridge and freezer. One negative is that the outside feels hot to the touch a lot of the time (manual says that is normal so no concern that something is wrong...just odd to have it feel so hot). It runs quiet....which is a huge plus. The process from ordering online to delivery was easy without any issues. Everything works well, it feels like a much more expensive fridge....the doors close tight with a suction against the seals...it's a great deal for the money.

Refrigerator
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good size for the price. Does make alot of weird moaning noises. You get used to it after awhile but definitely annoying at first.

Sleek steel exterior, roomy interior
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While the exterior is similar to the one it replaced seems more roomy. I like that the bottom self which holds the two bottom storage bins is clear so I can see whats in them with out opening them. Keeps me from forgetting something I have in them. Like the adjustable door shelves which my old frig did not have. Runs quiet but occasionally "squeaks" which seemed odd but with the motor more quiet just an operating sound. Run fine, freezes quickly. Steel exterior easy to clean. Only had 1 month, so far so good.

It works
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Decent I suppose for the price compared to most. I bought this because my $4,000 leg broke right at the 5 year mark. Don’t buy LG as they use a sealed compressor system. Throw away fridges. Anyhow this is as basic as a fridge can get. It works but I had to get my own storage solutions to properly use the space. For the price it’s the best stainless on the market at its range. So far so good but I don’t expect much for $60”

||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this for an emergency. Ours broke and he new one won’t be delivered until April. This one works great. It had been a long time since I’ve had ice cream that was. It melts. This one finally froze the ice cream! It’s a little loud, but livable. Don’t put anything heavy in the side bins. We broke one right after it was delivered. It’s cheaply made, but if you treat it with kindness it L,somewhat it’s supposed to do.

Looks Sleek and Runs Quietly
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I chose this style because the lack of handles gives me a little more space in my small kitchen. I also like the glass shelves. The Best Buy assoc.said that most of this fridge is made by Samsung so hopefully it will last. A disappointment is that the freezer door doesn't close without a second push. Geek Squad came out and said they'd adjusted it but it didn't help. I can live with it because I'm sure I will become habituated to giving an extra push. Runs quietly and temperature stays where I set it.

Nice Looking Fridge

Good but condensation.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This has been a decent fridge for a couple years now. It's a little loud. And no matter how much or how little food is in it, it drains a lot of water into the catch pan under and behind the unit. The drained water then gets moldy and starts to smell up the kitchen. Only fix I know, pull out fridge, remove 2 screws, bleach the tray. Also, that same try arrived broken which had to be replaced.

Great simple fridge
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great fridge. We needed something a little bigger and this did the trick. Also looks great too. The doors don’t close as easily as I’d like but it’s the only flaw.

Good Choice among lower-cost refrigerators
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Insignia is a Best Buy brand, and I have had other Insignia products, so I felt comfortable with my choice. When the old fridge, a behemoth with an ice maker, water dispenser and side by side doors, died unexpectedly after more than a decade of service, I decided to quickly replace it with a less expensive model until I was ready to spend more. This is a fridge that might be good to place in a rental property for the use of tenants. It has not needed service, it has average storage space. It does the job and it's value is in it's low price. The fridge tends to run cold. I found it annoying to find things on the lower shelf, so I shaped a cardboard box to fit, covered it in plastic, and can now slide the "drawer" out from the shelf to see what's at the back. (This is the shelf that sits above the two bins at the bottom). The lower half of the back of the fridge is not behind a panel; the wiring and insulation are in plain view. Maybe that is a cost savings in production, but it seems incomplete. Even a plastic cover would be better than nothing.
