We needed a refrigerator to replace one in the basement -- that was 57 years old (amazing). We didn't have a need for anything other than the same basic top-freezer refrigerator style. This one fills the need perfectly. Is it the very best in quality? No -- but you don't expect it at the price point. I read other reviews stating it's cheap quality, etc. I find this to be just fine. It seals tightly. It keeps a constant cold temp. (I bought a new fridge/freezer thermometer at the hardware store -- and the temp has been very stable). Some people's review said it was noisy. Ours runs very quietly. (The old one, at its age, was running 24 hours a day -- it was getting louder -- so we're really pleased with the new one. Surely we're using less electricity with it.) The delivery people we had was a third party contractor to Best Buy -- and maybe we lucked out -- but they were terrific. They set it up, made sure it was level, peeled off all the tape and protective plastic and left things nice and clean. I guess in summary -- it's perfect for the basement refrigerator. It's perfect for smaller spaces, apartments, condos, cabins, even a small office. It's not high end, and isn't meant to be. We're happy and think it's worth looking at. (I looked at a place that sells refurbished units thinking "it's for a basement" -- but they were scratched, had cracked plastic parts, and some had odors. And their warranty was short and even getting a 1-yr warranty would have added cost. At the end of the day -- the only difference in what I paid was for the Best Buy 5-year protection plan. Given comments from others saying they have had problems "later on" -- I opted to take the extra protection.)

Received the Insignia refrigerator 20 days ago, and it is working flawlessly. I added metal stacking shelves and small plastic bins in the freezer and fridge sections for sorting. Lots of storage spaces on the door which are perfect for my supplies. It is quiet running, keeps temps as selected. I like the simplicity of the interior, and the size is perfect for my small kitchen. Earlier in the year, I bought an Insignia 7cf freezer which I am also very happy with. Great prices on both also.

I love my new fridge. It has lots of room. The freezer is huge. The price was right. I just couldn't believe it when we got it home and actually saw the size and the decent price we paid. Cant believe we found such a great deal. I highly recommend this fridge.

The fridge is quite short. You really can't see inside it all that well unless you duck or are under 5'6". However, it seems to do the job well enough. There have been no issues, everything is properly chilled and it's relatively silent. It has to snap shut so don't try to rely on it swinging to a close. Also be wary of the freezer drawers, they're quite small.

Great exactly what I needed. Fits perfectly on my back porch gives me the extra fridge and freezer space I need.

We bought this for our garage fridge. Its large enough to be used as a main house fridge for a smaller family. It keeps everything cold and has sturdy door storage. The freezer is large and can hold quite a bit. Overall great purchase for our needs, and the price was a steal.

1. Easy to assemble handles and to start it 2. There were no issues due to power down for a few hours - it continued working just fine 3. The light inside is good; it helps to see everything 4. The temperature is consistent, all products are refrigerated well withoiut freezing 5. Freezer makes ice pretty fast; other items are frozen good 6. Doars are easy to open and close, and there is enough space to put somethng in the door 7. There are no spots seen after touching the door with fingers 8. It is quiet, no noise produced when changing the mode in the cycle 9. Using this refrigerator in the garage. It was easy to find place, and even when it is really hot, refrigerating and freezing are not affected, working just fine 10. The price was good, cheaper than many other models, so it's affordable

Great price for a more than adequate, down to earth refrigerator. Has worked right from startup. It is so quiet. Seems more than its 18 cubic feet. Delivery and installation was top notch. Be careful to check for any dents. If you accept the dent, ask the delivery people for the phone number to call to report the dent and get extra discount if you choose to keep the refrigerator.

This Fridge was a life-saver at our office. We replaced a smaller fridge that was apartment sized with this one. It keeps the drinks and food cold and the freezer on top allows everyone to bring in frozen lunches and cuts down on cost.
