There are two side for this trash can. One side is for the recycle and the other is for regular trash. Its not fun when you take out the trash can since there is a lid you have to remove every time you take out the trash and put back on when you put a new trash bags back on otherwise the trash bag won’t hold.

Saw this gadget and had to have it. I was just using empty plastic garbage bags hanging on my pantry door knob for my recycleables. This was a great option and cool gadget. It works great and no issues. Now I can use it for hiding my recyclables and not have to empty quite as often.

What can you really say about a garbage can? It looks much better than the plastic ones, but you can’t fit as much garbage since it has a divider in it. One for trash and the other for recycle items.

This is a great find for those who dont have alot of trash. Although it is a double compartment inside. One side for recyclables/ the other for garbage. For those who may have larger families ir presents unnecessary challenges where maintaining garbage control is more of a factor than an issue. As implied earlier; no deception in the seller nor his advertisement.

Got this dual-sided can for a great price! It is the perfect size and I love the automatic lid way more than I thought I would. I used to keep my recycling bin in the garage, so it’s so handy to have in the kitchen. The manual lid function is very handy, too, if I want to keep it open.

This is a great way to get you to sort your trash and recycle.

Bought this on sale but we had to change batteries several times, it doesn't last long or probably defective. Sensor is not reliable.

If you find this in sale under $100 thej it is worth every penny. The ONLY issue I have had was the lid not closing all the at times.

Good and useful but sometimes you just want one large trash bin and don't have a need for separate bins. Wish it had a removable barrier so you could open up and close when want the recycle option

Great double trash can, I went from taken trash out everyday to every 3-4 days. Leaves some extra room in the bag when filled. Can easily use this as 2 trash cans or 2 recycle bins. Recommend for the daily kitchen trash can.

Makes trash not so trashy. Now if my spouse could just figure out what is trash and what is recyclable.

Just got into recycling and we had a trash can you had to step on the foot pedal for the lid to open and the motion sensor is much more convenient. Also separating the recyclables from ordianry trash is also a major plus. Its a nice size as well pretty big containers but not too big. It’s perfect I love it.

My kitchen is small and having two garbage cans one for regular trash and one for recycle plus my dining table was too much. I am glad I finally found this dual recycle/trash can, works better with my kitchen. It's just perfect and easy to work with as it has open and close manually as well as automatic.

Grabbed this while it was on sale for $60. It does what we needed and has a sensor that habdles the opening and closing of the garbage can. We bought it without realizing that, but it ended up working out just fine. Might not be everyone's cup of tea though as the sensor can be a but finnicky.

I was so happy to order this garbage pail especially with the automatic open and close and to have a trash and recycling section. However not even a month old and the cover doesn’t work as well as expected. True disappointment! Changed batteries several times and still doesn’t work to my expectations. Too expensive and to be disappointed in a product that does not work well. In the kitchen you need a functional pail. What a waste…and can’t even get a replacement. Bah humbug

I have had my eye on this can for a while, and all Insignia products so far have far exceded my expectations. Everyone who has one has had the lid stop working in under a year so lets hope this can will beat all the others and last for years.
