While the plug that goes into the outlet is flat enough to work behind furniture, etc. the way that the cable comes out of the plug is not as good as it could be because two of the cables cannot be plugged into the same pair of outlets.

Recently bought a small appliance to place atop a standard size fridge but the cord didn’t quite reach the outlet. Saw this on BestBuy and bought in a pinch to solve the issue. Arrived today (after a shopping mishap), and so far seems to work as needed. Small appliance is working fine and the flat outlet plug isn’t interfering with the refrigerator cord either. Cord seems durable and well made, so hopefully won’t have any issues. 4 stars because it’s only been plugged in about 10 minutes at the time of posting.

I needed to plug in an appliance but only needed to reach about a foot, this cord is perfect.

We're using this extension cable with our dryer because it has the space saving flat plug and we needed every inch possible to fit the dryer into our space. No issues!

It's white. Electricity goes in one end and comes out the other.

Very useful for behind shelves or any other area that needs a flat plug.

This was discounted in store, and the packaging screamed "I'm a return". I completely missed all the signs. Lo and behold, the plug worked for a good minute before losing the current, so I can't say what a working one is like. The cord coming from the flat plug comes down on the right side, so you might lose an inch if the cord needs to run the other way.

The quality is very good and the length is just right for me. At this price, this product is worth it.

Easy to use, reliable quality, comes in very handy when I'm traveling

Purchased a new Microwave that was so deep that it would not permit me to use the supplied power plug since the power socket was directly behind the unit. Using this Low Profile extension cord did the trick.

A small item like this provided invaluable help in resolving my situation. I updated my home network to newer equipment now that I had cut the cable and would be streaming - a new modem and mesh router system. Location of the equipment is paramount for good reception. The power cords for the routers are on the short side. It was important for me to get the extra foot for my main router’s preferred location to connect to the UPS. Given this device is supplying my entire house with its internet, I wanted a short, thick, reliable cord to give me the added length I needed without future issues. This cord was perfect for my situation.

Finally, Insignia improves on their previous short power extension cable by changing the plug to a flat angle design! Simple basic power extender but made much more effective with the new design. I've got this snug right behind my bed's headboard and works just as intended. The change to white is also a welcome change.
