My mother and I ended up buying this TV for my grandmother because she wanted a new TV to put in her kitchen. She wasn't looking for anything too big and didn't care about the hi-def picture. We picked up the TV and got it installed. It was easy to get set up but then thing that my grandmother didn't like was the volume. I wasn't there when she was watching it but she said that even with the volume turnee up, she still had a hard time hearing and understanding what people were saying. My grandmother does not have/need hearing aids so I think the sound quality was just okay. Overall, a cheap TV to use for simple things however, don't expect too much out of it.

    STAND NEEDS IMPROVING

Be very careful when attaching stand. The reviews are right that talk about screwing stand on without being careful results in the attachment holes stripping out. I was very careful and one hole still stripped out. Had to apply epoxy into hole, then insert screw into stripped out hole and hold in place till epoxy hardened. This works, but you'll never be able to remove the stand. Other than that TV is minimal quality with few inputs, but didn't expect much because price was inexpensive. It was a Christmas gift for my wife's office, so I didn't want to spend a lot and didn't nave room for anything much larger

I actually bought this as a second monitor in a pinch, when I wasn't at home. It's a very barebones TV, without even any physical buttons to control it aside from the power button itself. As a monitor, it wasn't a great picture, which was a bit disappointing, but it sufficed for what I needed it for, and I couldn't beat the price. I'll keep it around as a spare TV or monitor in the future.

Using MDI input direct from cable box gives a clear, sharp if not overly contrasty image. Can be adjusted but range of adjustment is limited. Sound is clear and loud when needed ( TV is in our kitchen) but volume adjustment can be tricky since one button push can result in 2 or more changes in volume steps, Overall... great value for the money.

This TV was on sale for $69.99 on black Friday, and has a great vertical picture viewing angle. This TV was purchased for our RV where the TV is mounted up high and needs to be small. The old TV did not have a great vertical viewing angle. This would have been a great TV if it where a SMART TV. No one makes smart TVs in this size.

I returned this tv because of the stand. We are using in the kitchen on a counter top. Since there is no ability to tilt the tv on the stand we would have had to squat down to watch it. The old Insignia tv that we were replacing tilted on the stand, so it worked fine for many years. Unfortunately the new tv did not provide the same flexibility.

B ought a 19 inch to fit in a tight space. Turns out the 19 inch came in a frame that would also hold a 22 inch. Luckily, it barely fit. Also, the speakers are.reaaly, really cheap but can be made tolerable by adjusting the bass and treble to minimize the tinny sound.

I originally bought this TV when we decided to replace the TV in my kitchen and it's a great TV, but it was a little bit to small for us. So we bought the next size up which was the 24 inch. And that was a lot better for our kitchen and back patio.

Whenever you turn the tv on or off there is this terrible voice that announces what you did. Very irritating. If I knew this tv did this I would not have bought it. It doesnt sound human. When you put volume up or down you cant hear whats on because the voice talking.

Tv didn’t work well without a HD box. It is capable of hooking up to a wall cable but picture breaks up. Bottom line store wouldn’t let us return it because it was past the return time on the receipt . You must use a HD signal to get a decent picture.

I purchased two of these as monitors for a theater that I work at. They're small and the image is cheap, but they do the trick. They serve a purpose, but aren't a television I would buy for actual television watching or streaming.

Not a bad little tv, obviously does the job. The sound will sometimes go out and the tv has to be reset (unplugged for 10 seconds then turned back on) which is annoying for a new tv to do. But the picture is good for its size.

This 19 inch tv is nice size for the bedroom. The color is very bright and needs to be adjusted and the talking voice that tells you it's on or off, turn it off. It's annoying. For a bedroom tv it's okay.

While this TV doesn't offer exceptional resolution it works and serves the purpose of having a television in the kitchen.

It’s not a tv you want as a main tv but it’s ok for the kitchen to watch so you can do things and not miss your program. It’s not the best but it serves its purpose
