I bought this TV on a Deal of the Day offer, on an impulse because the price was right, figuring it can be used as a monitor for a music server, an maybe for a casual gaming monitor. I really didn't expect much in terms of picture quality, just an adequate display for use as a music server on a stereo table. Boy, I was I shocked to see this was actually a pretty good TV. once it was connected to the cable box for testing and I got a chance to look it over. As an early adopter from way back, I have bought quite a few color tv's over time, since an early Philco 21" console, with the old round CRT picture tube back in the late 60's, up through Plasma's and later day LCD's, and I never had a color TV that out of the box did not need a long period of fiddling with the controls for quite some time until you get the picture just right. Until this one! Out of the box, the picture was bright and sharp, the color and tint were just right, and nothing seemed to need adjustment. I was very pleasantly surprised. And, that was with the default Energy Saver mode, which on most sets is pretty dim, on this one it's just about right. I was only just hooking this up temporarily in front of my main set, a 50" plasma, to share the cable box connection and evaluate how the set looked. I wound up watching it for the rest of the day into the next. Everything looked great! I explored the menus to see what could be done, as the direction sheet is pretty skimpy as provided with the set, and I did make one adjustment to the default settings, I reduced sharpness from the default 45 to 30, as I was seeing some edge effect on screen images, and that eliminated the problem entirely. This TV looked ridiculously small in front of the big screen TV behind it, and alas, that is the only fault I found with this TV. It is really too small to use for other than a specific purpose (game monitor, close up computer monitor, kitchen counter, locked in a closet, powder room for those long sit down sessions and there's nothing good to read (just kidding!), or some similar use). It is not the fault of the TV, it is something you have to consider before you buy it. it does not have any internet apps smart TV's come with, however, it does the basic job of displaying visual images pretty well for which it was made; it presents an excellent and watchable TV picture. I really think I got a bargain with this TV. I took a gamble, and as is not usually the case, I think I ended up with a winner. Definitely worth the money if this screen size fits your needs.

When I got my TV I was missing a part. When I called they said it may be taped into the styrafoam. Obviously I wasn't the 1st one with this problem. Maybe better directions would help. TV itself works well and good value for the money.

Monitor is lightweight and easy to use. Perfect for a karaoke lyric display. Clear images and easy to set up and disassemble. Very happy with purchase.

I looked at other reviews before I purchased this TV. That helped me decide which one to buy. It replaced a TV that I had since 1998. This was easy to connect to my cable system. I did have to buy a connector cable for it so that required a second trip to the store. It would have been nice to know that when I got the TV. That is the only reason I didn’t give it five stars. The picture and sound are very good and the price was very reasonable.

The Insignia 19” TV is a perfect TV for a home office or anywhere where one wants access to the news or weather and doesn’t want to devote a whole wall to a TV. It works quite nicely with a Fire Stick 4K and the picture quality is unbelievably clear. It’s also quite thin, so it will fit on basically any bookcase or shelf. It seems hard to find a “small” TV these days and I was uncertain about the Insignia brand. After this purchase, I was beyond impressed – this TV is fantastic and I can’t believe how great the price is.

The TV is smaller than I had anticipated, but I love it anyway. It fits great in the small space I have and despite it's small size the picture is clear and bright so the smallness doesn't really matter. Easy to set up and good sound. The voice explanations are fine, except I like to fall asleep to the sound of the TV so I put the sleep timer on, the voice scared the heck out of me as I was dozing off. Easy enough to switch it off so problem solved. I would totally buy this set again it's a bargain!

First of all, I ordered the TV online and had it delivered and it arrived before the scheduled time. It was an easy set up. Basically pulled it out of the box, screwed on the legs, screwed in the antenna, and plugged it in. I did a channel scan and within minutes I had a beautiful picture. I cannot complain at all about the picture or the volume for this 19 inch television. I am extremely happy. It is compact enough to put in the bedroom, den or the kitchen. Good value for little money!!

I am using the TV as my computer monitor primarily and it does that well. It works fine as a TV too. The image is good quality for both uses. The input jacks all exit from the bottom of the tv, which is fine with me. It has no way to wall mount it, which I would have liked. I had no problem attaching the feet but I would be careful, because it does look like you could strip them out. The sound quality is good. It doesn't get as loud as a sound bar, but hey, buy a sound bar if you need that quality. A good solid buy for under a hundred bucks.

This TV has a lot more feature settings than I expected to find for an LED TV of it's size and price. The picture is very good. The reception was surprisingly good for an inexpensive TV and considering I am restricted to having to use an indoor antenna. I needed a small TV for my mother who has recently become mostly bed ridden for some time. This lightweight TV is perfect for my purpose and surprised me with it's quality and features considering I needed to buy something inexpensive.

I needed a small TV for my kitchen counter. This fits well in the space & is very light weight & easy to move. The screen is small but picture great.

Simple to set up, I put this TV in a Arctic Fox 990 cab over camper I did have to modify the built in mount in the camper in order for the TV to go to the lock position for travel. The holes in the TV were too low to fit without a modified bracket which I made out of aluminum. The TV auto scanned over 100 HD channels, traveled well on first use, also used a ROKU on this TV sound is good enough for the camper. Only con is the voice that they use to set up the tv sounds like Hal on 2001 had to turn it off.

Great value for its capabilities! Love that this has an HDMI port - hooked it up to a laptop to watch YouTube on a bigger screen and it worked like a charm. Color is better than other similarly priced TVs, too.

This TV is excellent for the price. The picture is very clear and the sound is decent. I'm very pleased with this purchase. The only " down side" would be the legs. It is very hard to screw them in tightly. However, I was able to attach the legs so the TV is sturdy enough to sit on the kitchen counter.

Nice TV. Compact, nice image, decent sound. This is nice TV to use it wherever you need it. It is very light, and easy to move around.

If you're in the market for a small TV or an extra monitor look no further! This was easy to set up, sound is pleasant and picture is good quality for a unit this size. It can be mounted or has two legs to attach for standing. It would be a bit much to carry with you as an extra monitor for a laptop but in my office it does well as a second screen. It is small but I have a 15.6 inch laptop so it is enough bigger to make the size seem larger than my laptop screen. All-in-all this was a fine purchase. I wish I could easily figure out the settings that's been my only difficulty. But as I work at it, it comes together.

This tv was the perfect size, easy to set up and has an excellent picture. I was amazed to get such a good tv for thie price.

This TV is the perfect size for small areas. A good picture and easy to operate is a plus.

Extremely easy set up. I had been looking for something even smaller to replace a CRT/VCR (!) combo which was long in the tooth. But the smaller new sets were 2X or 3X the price of this one. Turns out the size was just fine and now no problem reading the cable guide or seeing a football game while preparing a meal. Really good value, no complaints whatsoever.
