I mounted this small television to use and watch security video around the house. The image quality is poor, but was sufficient for my needs unfortunately after almost exactly 2 years, the screen went black. I guess for $25 a year, it's not a bad investment, but it certainly seems like it should last a lot longer

We bought this TV for a small office and are satisfied with it so far. I'm amazed at how cheap TVs have gotten. In terms of features, it's got more than we need. It's not smart, which I consider a benefit. Smart TVs are notorious data collectors and invaders of privacy. The bezel is pleasingly narrow and un-distracting, and makes for a very compact package. The tuner pulls in all of our regular cable stations, and also a few that have weak signals, although those sometimes come and go. It's at the end of a long cable, with multiple splitters and amplifiers before it.
Despite the 720p resolution, the picture is clear and sharp, and the colors and brightness using the default settings seem about right. The sound is pleasing despite the small speakers. The remote is relatively simple and intuitive, as are the menu systems, although there are a large number of possible settings. We have other Insignia TVs and are used to the menus and setup routines, so there was less of a learning curve.
At under 5 pounds, the TV is incredibly light. We have it mounted on a computer monitor arm that's clamped to the edge of a desk, which allows it to be positioned up and out of the way. It has threaded holes for a standard VESA mount, although it didn't come with any screws.
A few flaws: The feet are functional, but feel cheap and flimsy, and barely adequate. Each attaches to holes in the plastic with a self tapping screw, and it takes quite a bit of force to secure the feet. With the monitor arm, we don't use them. A quick set-up sheet is included, but no manual or other documentation. The manual can be downloaded though. Most irritating is how slow channel changes can be. This seems to be a hallmark of cheap TVs, and of flat screens in general. I'm guessing that it's a consequence of using very low-end processors and tuners.
Assuming that it will have a decent lifespan, we're pretty happy with this TV. None of our other Insignia TVs have failed, although a few of our other Insignia products have. So far, it's a pretty good package for not a lot of money.
