The soundbar would not come on unless you unplugged it from the wall, and plugged it back in. The buttons wouldn't react and it wouldn't power cycle from the button.

I got the cheapest one just to shut him up. Set the tv up and these 2 old folks found the sound on the tv to be great. I live 50 miles from the store and did not get offered geek protection at the store. To get it come back to the store. Finally got around to attaching the soundbar with an optical audio cable (cost extra) Attached it to the tv and later to the dish box. At first it worked on a few dish chnnels but not all. I tried going through the sources etc. The remote is a piece of junk. No idea when it is working or not. I tried contacting Besrt buy no answer to 2 emails and 2 phone calls. Insignia told me to call dish, diosh told me to call insignia and after 2 calls to dish and trying the 18 codes I never could get my dish remote to work. I just gave up. BB could care less. I would take it back but I don't have time to drive 2 hours total to do so.

Sound was not much better than the Tv it was connected to even with the best sound connection option. (Get a soundbar w/ subwoofer if you want something that’s decent). Return was smooth so I will give 2stars.

It works fine for that but after a while of inactivity it goes to sleep and I have to manually turn it back on every time I use my computer. The sound quality is also iffy with only 3 EQ settings. It's heavy on the lower mid frequencies.
