It took me a few tries to understand the idiosyncrasies of my television remote controlling the soundbar. The connection was seamless. As with most Insignia products, it's well worth the money.

The deal breaker for me was the bright red standby light that comes on when turned off. It was for a bedroom and needed to put tape over it or the while room lit up red.

good for the price

We were able to set it so that the TV remote can control it but still have not been able to make the cable remote do this, but it's probably user error.

The Bluetooth connectivity is unreliable - it frequently disconnects or struggles to pair, which defeats the purpose of a wireless soundbar. Even when it is connected, the volume output is underwhelming. At max volume, it's still not very loud and doesn't fill the room the way you'd expect. Sound quality is just okay at best, with limited bass and little depth. It's fine for basic TV audio, but not much of an upgrade over built-in TV speakers. For the price, I expected better performance and more consistent connectivity. I wouldn't recommend this if you're looking for strong sound or dependable Bluetooth.
