I bought this as a gift for my dad as he's older and sometimes has a hard time hearing the TV. He doesn't like to wear headphones all the time so this worked great. You can plug it into a 3.5mm headphone jack (most TVs have them) or use bluetooth. The sound is actually pretty good for smaller speakers. It's not going to rock the house down, but for general TV and movies it sounds decent for this price point.

The sound quality in these far surpasses what I thought they were capable of, plus the lights match the rest of my setup!

I really like these speakers, they look sweet! My only down side is the subwoofer only starts to SLAP when the music is turned up pretty loud. Other than that they are great speakers!

Bluetooth works great for my desktop computer. I am using two of them in my office. One for the computer, and the other for my Alexia show. using both at the same time with no problems.

This is a very modest and basic speaker set, but for me it's perfect. I have my gaming setup in a small room and don't need mind-blowing sound, as I use my headset at least 50% of the time. I had some older basic Insignia speakers and wanted a cheap upgrade. These are a fine product and actually sound better than I expected. Only drawback is I'd prefer the bass dial with the volume control rather than on back of the subwoofer, but that's a pretty minor thing. The lighting is subtle but that's what I like about it. I don't want look at them I want to hear them. That said, they look just fine! Good bargain if you have a similar need/setup.

I purchased the Insignia 2.1 Bluetooth and wired speaker six months ago, and it has consistently impressed me. The sound quality is exceptional, delivering a rich and immersive audio experience. As far as speakers go, these are very good and with the Bluetooth added in, I can easily play audio from my phone or tablet to boot. The lights in the speakers are visually appealing too.

I purchased these Insignia pc speakers for my son. I was quite surprised with the crisp quality sound they gave. I'm completely satisfied with the price I paid for them.

The speakers sound good. There's a humming noise when connected. The led that indicates Bluetooth/aux is nice and bright. Blue or red depending on mode.

It's a good product, sounds great, for the price it cost its a good deal! The Speakers are connected to my desktop through bluetooth, the only issue I have is that if the computer is idle in sleep mode for too long the connection is lost and i have to disconnect and reconnect. Also the ability to select the color on the speakers is pretty cool.

The sound quality out of these little speakers is amazing. Easy setup and control. Would recommend!

I used to have the one before this one, it was ok but this one with the lights and to me it sounds great. Have a year with it and no problems

To start, these speakers are not meant to blow you out of a room, so if that’s your need, look elsewhere. I bought these specifically for use with my iPad. I use my iPad a lot during early morning hours, and hooking it into my other set of speakers was a pain. As I didn’t need volume, just wanted better sound quality than I was getting from the iPad speakers alone (and there’s no complaints with those, either, but still.....), I said why not, as I could always return them. These are perfect for me, and certainly worth the money when knowing why you might buy these SPECIFIC speakers. It is a 100% improvement in sound quality when streaming SiriusXM or from my music library. They also are fantastic for streaming a movie or TV show, as it does add the the quality of the show. Not a lot of manual volume range on either the pod or the subwoofer, but it’s not necessary with an iPad, so consider that in your needs. They weren’t that difficult to set up, and while the first time trying to hook into them with Bluetooth was not what I hoped for, it was only due to a setting on my iPad; adjusted the setting, and no problem since. Your experience may vary. The LED colors can be turned off if you wish, but I just leave mine on purple. Just a nice color for early morning before sunrise. Overall, these are great for small spaces and lower volumes, as well as, as I am finding out, fairly portable if you really feel that need. Perfect for an office, a home kitchen, a bedroom or dorm room, or even a small man cave. If you need speakers for more than these or similar applications, you may be disappointed, but otherwise, these speakers are the speakers you need.

Purchased this item about a month ago and am surprised I got such excellent sound for the price I paid. It has a subwoofer, two volume dials, and the speakers have blue lights, which makes it look more expensive.

These are awesome! I was between these and the $60 logitech equivalent. Dont pass these up just because they are a bestbuy brand. They also come with a 1 year warranty if anything happens.

Clear crisp sound with a touch of bass. Works for my daughters turn table, but not a theater system by any means. Does not get loud at all.

Great little speakers. Easy set up, lots of features at this price point. Could be louder. Plenty for average listening. Extremely happy.

Great bang for the buck. I use these as secondary DJ monitors in my office for when I don't want to blast out the house. Sound quality is really good for the price point -- and the LED lighting while not necessary is cool looking. For the price point, these get the job done for music and gaming audio when you don't need a ton of volume. Having some added control features and jacks on the audio controller very convenient if you have to have everything spread out.
