Big value for a low price.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was in Best buy to get a new fire stick and saw this sound bar on sale for $99 So I got it to use in my bedroom. (I would not hesitate to use in the living room if I needed to) Easy setup, great sound and has Bluetooth which makes it simple to connect My phone or Ipad etc. for music playback on Spotify. I underestimated the performance because of the low price. This product performed better than I thought it would. At $99 it's a home run

Wonderful, but you get what you pay for
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've really enjoyed this soundbar and think the sound quality is essentially what I'd expect for the price tag. One slight disappointment that wasn't advertised is the lack of visual display showing what the volume is at. We essentially have this connected to our TV on max, and just control the volume through the TV itself, but it would be nice to know what the actual sound level through the soundbar is. Really like the wireless subwoofer as well, but again, the quality is what you pay for.

Excellent and Effortless
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent! I have recently been through a spate of sound bars, trying to find one that not only sounds good but will also pair with my directv remote. This product paired instantly, no set up to the directv remote needed. Still need to use the provided insignia remote to fiddle with bass, etc., but this works with the direct remote for volume up and down. I hate having to grab more than one remote to work my tv. Also, the sound is very good. I am not an aficionado of stereo, just a normal tv user. I have a Hisense 54" and this attached easily using the supplied wiring and plugging into the tv's headphone jack. I could probably get a higher quality tone if I ran down and bought an optic connection, but that is not a priority right now, this is great for me. The subwoofer is an unexpected bonus and it paired wirelessly to the soundbar first try. Also all the wiring and plug ins are long enough to reach without straining the wires and providing more aggravation with being unsightly and crossing over other items. Also the indicator light is very small, so you aren't distracted by a glaring yellow, blue, green purple or red light. It would wall mount very easily, but it works for me on a chest under the tv. Don't worry or dawdle. Get this and if you are really unhappy, Best Buy has a generous return policy, but truth be told, you won't need to bother packing it back up.

Pretty Cool Soundbar
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pretty Neat Soundbar. Insignia is a BestBuy company, so I sorta trusted it. Had to buy my own optical cable, which is fine, cuz on amazon I got a 10ft cable to hide behind my wall to the hanging tv. Soundbar isn't hung and this is fine for my loft. The sound is good and the bass is even better. I like to play music from my phone and love the bluetooth capability.

More Than Adequate
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Lets's start off by saying.. this is not a home theater system, This is a $70-$80 upgrade to your TV speakers. That being said, this is an exceptional value. Sound bar is far more clear than the TV speakers and the base is actually quite impressive given the price point. Set up was relatively easy after I figured out my TV did not have an audio OUTPUT -- only an INPUT. (JVC) You'll get a buzzing noise if this is the case with your TV. I upgraded to the Optical Output cord and synced the base without issue. (Just press and hold the PAIR button on the back of the base unit if you are having issues, it will eventually sync) Those of you in a Condo or average apartment will find this to be more than adequate.

Easy to install, great sound for small room
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the fact that it does get loud and at times the sound is amazing especially for music; super! As far as sports and other live action not the greatest. Cant control the bass output levels so a lil disappointed but it does have presets on the remote to select type of sound levels you want (Theater, Bass, Normal) The coolest part is the bluetooth. Easy to pair and also remembers last device. Switch to bluetooth on remote, and just press the play button; can controll whole playlist. PLAY, PAUSE, NEXT & PREVIOUS The remote is cool resembles an amazon firestick remote. Only reccomend if you looking for a decent sound in a small bedroom or office. Not suitable for real home theater use or larger rooms (but can get you close too, if on a budget)

Great Soundbar and Subwoofer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have it connected to my pc and it works great. Everytime I turn on the PC it automatically turns on also. The subwoofer sounds good and I can adjust it accordingly and also the soundbar itself sounds great too. For the price that you pay, you can't go wrong on it. Highly recommend it.

Great Price, Good Quality
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a good soundbar for the price. The sound is decent (not amazing), the connections are simple, the interface is simple, and it just works out of the box. This was for my son's bedroom and it provides more than enough volume for that space. The sound range is good though it obviously doesn't have the same abilities of higher priced bars. It has fairly impressive bass for that size of a module in that size of a room. It doesn't have the voice enhancement settings other systems do so sometimes the voices are hard to discern over the background sounds. But overall, very happy with the purchase for its intended use.

Good 80W Sound Bar that provides good sound
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Its a good sound bar for the price. You definitely have to tweak the bass setting to really get something out of it but it definitely sound better then my TV's speskers. Don't expect it to be on theblevel of the more expensive brands since this is only an 80W system but it does sound good. Unfortunately, the bass is the only thing you can really tweak the rest is already adjusted you can only change the speaker configurations but putting it in one of the 3 pre-assigned confugurations on the remote. The subwoofer is connected wirelessly so you can put pretty much anywhere you want as long as there is an outlet near by to power it.

Great bang for the buck
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this on sale during Black Friday. The subwouffer is surprisingly strong. The soundboard itself is an amazing deal for the price. It is 2.1 surround sound so read the description carefully before you buy to make sure this is what you are looking for, as it is not the full 5.1 like some soundbar packages are. So again make sure to read and understand what you are buying. It comes with a remote which is nice. It has an optical audio output but no cord for it. The optical audio cord is only like 8 dollars so not a big deal but definitely best for sound quality I've been told. It's an 80w soundbar I believe so its perfect for watching TV or movies. I know they go up to 300w or more sometimes so again for what I'm using it for this seems to be fine but do your homework. Also got a 4 year plan with geek squad so it's nice knowing I'm covered just in case, as I once had a couple speakers stop working after a huge thunderstorm. Overall great bang for the buck!

Decent sound bar at an affordable price.
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was a Christmas gift for a family member, and it works fairly well. The sound is crisp and the subwoofer adds an extra bit of depth, especially when watching action films. My only complaint is the fact that some programs do not coordinate with sound leveling. In others words, some movies have to be turned up to a louder level so that dialogue is audible, but during parts of a program with lots of explosions, the sound has to be turned down to a tolerable level.

Auto power-off makes it useless for PC/Streaming
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A very good sounding system. No problems with pairing of unit & subwoofer. Plenty of sound for average room. Adjustable bass lets you feel it. The 'undocumented' feature of auto power-off makes it useless for streaming situations or PC use. After 10 minutes of no sound, it turns itself off & must be manually turned back on. (The only reason I have for a less than 5-star rating.) I do all of my streaming, watching, etc. thru the PC and nothing is more frustrating than having ALL sounds, alerts 'silenced' automatically.

Upgrade to the TV’s speaker
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this sound bar for our 40” TV that my son won on his work Xmas Party. The sound bar itself is decent for a bedroom but I wouldn’t recommend this for a living room or any open space. It’s easy hook up - with the best audio input via the Toslink optical jack (cable not included). The subwoofer sound is pretty non-existent as far as any low frequency. Subwoofer is wireless and connects to the sound bar automatically. It doesn’t have any controls for volume. Comes with a remote control - which you cannot clone on your multi- device remote controller. I found a work around for that by hooking the sound bar to my TV’s optical output. My TV is hooked up to my cable box via HDMI. I have the cable box remote control the TV as well so when I turn off the TV, the volume will also turn off (sound bar stays on though). Just make sure that the TV’s volume is set to 0 or you will have 2 separate sounds. Bluetooth connection is decent - connected my phone easily. Verdict: Small rooms only. If you can afford a smart TV, invest in a different soundbar.

Couldn't beat the price.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this because of the sale price. It turned out to be a decent system. It is a defent upgrade from the t.v. speakers. Though the bass is not going to shake your walls it complements the sound bar nicely, not overpowering the bar. The bar and sub pair seamlessly. There is a couple things I do not like. The sub speaker is exposed in the back. (Be careful unpacking it. It's easy to grab onto.) Another issue I have with the system is the remote. For some reason to power the unit on and off, the remote must be pointed in a perfect spot. No other function is this picky. Overall I think it's a good purchase.
