No complaints about this product. Easy install. Sound is perfect for a living room. Good deep sounds from the woofer. Plus the Bluetooth feature is great. If you're waiting it for a larger theatre room then I would recommend something else.

I was looking for a bit of extra sound for my TV that was being placed in a spare bedroom i turned into a media room. The room is 12x12 and didn't need a whole lot. I heard this soundbar at bestbuy store and it was surpising loud with no audible distortion and thought for the price why not. This soundbar sets up very very easy and seamlessly finds the subwoofer with no problems, like plugging in a lamp and turning it on. As expected it's even louder in the smaller room and has plenty of low deep clear bass. I have the subwoofer setting all the way down to its lowest level which sounds the most balanced. I use the built in TV apps and over the air HD broadcast as sources and a PS4 for games and bluray so I just have a single fiber optic out from the TV running to the soundbar. This leaves only 1 input left for composite RCA connectors and a Bluetooth input. The sound imaging projected is stereo as to be expected and occasionally will throw out a sound when watching a movie that has more of the spatial surround sounds but it's rare. There's a few different sound modes that changes the tone ofnthe sound rather than the spatial sound you find in high end sound bars. For the cost of the soundbar and value and functionality and aesthetics this product is worth every penny. I have the sonos soundbar and sub in another room and obviously there's no comparison but for the price the insignia holds its own VERY well and I wouldn't hesitate to buy this again or even give it as a gift to a teenager just listening in a room so they can enjoy their iPhone amplified or TV.

A wonderful soundbar. Easy to set up. Easy to Bluetooth or to switch amongst tv and or a Bluetooth device such as a phone. It's loud and the subwoofer that came with is really good and makes a difference. Highly recommend.

This sound bar came with a Bluetooth subwoofer and it sounds very good. I have no complaints with the sound quality of this sound bar. The subwoofer that comes with it can literally shake the floor. It sounds great. My only complaint is it does graphically show any levels. So you have no idea how loud it is unless you are using your remote on your tv or other device. The remote that comes with it doesn't display any meters. Other than that the device sounds great. I do like the fact that I can control the sound bar with multiple remotes. It responds even to my Apple TV remote.

My TV in the basement has really teeny speakers that unfortunately fall woefully short when I am trying to work out on my bike, so I decided to get this soundbar. I have been considering soundbars without subwoofers but have not been impressed with them. This one not only has a sub, the sub is wireless as well. Decided to get it when it came on sale and have not been unsatisfied. it has quite a punch. The wireless powered sub is a nice little touch. The only issue is that there are not indicators on the unit to say what the current input is or what the volume level is. Otherwise for a small room this works great!

Only 89.99 plus taxes and it works impeccably. Blue Tooth Capabilities, Wired it up to my out of date computer because I was having an insanely difficult time trying to get blue tooth drivers to make it work, Super Loud, Clear, and Deep Base with seperate base module. Brand: Insignia. It was the last one on the shelf and the best price out of them and im super satisfied. i figured it must be good since it was the only one left. i was spot on with my assumption. :) thank best buy for the best deal. No more Cluttered Speakers for every device for me. Just 1 Soundbar (nodding head in approval)

I’ll start by saying I got this on sale for around $30 (right?!). For this price it is unbeatable in my mind. Not only are you getting some very solid sound from the sound bar but also having a wireless subwoofer that thumps is unheard of. I’m using it with an optical cable and so far have been very pleased! The bass hits hard (I actually have to keep it on the lowest setting since I’m in an apartment) and everything else works as it should. I’m sure if I spent a couple hundred $$$ I may hear the difference but for $30 i couldn’t be much happier

At first my fiancé and I were skeptical about sound bars or any sound system, but we now know what we were missing! This sound bar is so nice especially for the price - this was the main attraction to this product - but I think we made the right choice. The additional subwoofer makes listening to music that much more fun and movies that much more entertaining. Very excited with how well this turned out. Set up was quick and easy and the bluetooth feature is convenient. The mounting holes are simple and help hide the bar right under the TV which is hanging on the wall.

I purchased the Insignia - 2.1-channel Soundbar With Wireless Subwoofer for my home. I was thoroughly surprised by the sound quality that comes out of this unit. My living room is quite large and there are no issues with the soundbar or the subwoofer. In fact, my upstairs neighbor sometime complains that my soundbar drowns out her television in her apartment. My only negative comment is regarding the remote. It can be very temperamental, one minute you'll have to press the buttons with all of your might, then the next the buttons have a hair trigger.

The speakers in my TV stopped working. It's an older TV, so I purchased this instead of buying a new TV because I like mine. They set up in literally about 3 minutes, The bar and sub are wireless which makes it super simple to set up. They get really loud and have a good sound. If your not to particular about audio like me you'll think this set up has good quality. Was also normally $150 and it was just under $100 on sale so not too bad.

I set this up for my parents who have a lot of echo in their living room and had trouble understanding the TV, no matter the volume. While I'm sure there are better sounding sound bars, this one worked perfectly for clarity and depth of sound without breaking the bank! If you're looking to boost the sound and add some bass, then this is perfect. Very easy 1 plug set-up and a simple remote help make it a great choice.

This speaker has great sound and was a great price! It's only downside is the sound goes from quiet to super loud, not a whole lot of in between. Not great for when I'm trying to watch a movie after most of the house is asleep and it's either to quiet to hear what is being said in the movie, or it's waking up the whole house. I usually have to switch to just the tv volume then. But other than that it's great!

Bought this soundbar on sale for my new TV two days before the SuperBowl(Go Pats!). Read a lot of reviews on a variety of soundbar models before deciding upon this unit as the best balance between quality and price. Have a Home Theater setup in another room and am used to great sound so didn't expect the same experience from this setup. I was right, but not as far off as I thought. Vibrant sound, great Bass, really nice controls. Simple to setup(I went optical) I'm surprised and pleased.

Product makes a big difference! Bass is especially noticeable. Does not provide a surround sound experience, but does make sound more vivid and realistic. The only gripe I have is that the sound is either too overwhelming or too soft. Volume control does not allow for a happy medium, at least not for me. Still, it's a good product and it represents a definite step up from the TV speakers.

Blown Away By the Sound - Not the Remote

I will start with a disclaimer that I only paid $50 for this system. The bass is powerful. My only complaint is the inconsistency of the remote. It works sometimes and other times not so much. The sound is excellent and great to boost the stock TV speakers. For $50, I can't complain about anything, other than the remote! I would buy it again.

Wanted a better sound for my 40 inch Insignia TV. Found this model on sale, and since I've had good luck with my Insignia TV's I decided to give this a whirl. Has greatly improved the sound on my TV and has added a decent bass! For an inexpensive way to upgrade your TV sound, I highly recommend this unit. It's easy to install and use.

This sound bar was inexpensive but it well worth the money. Easy to install, and has very good sound to it. It makes a big difference from just trying to use the speaker in the TV. Works well with our Samsung SmartTV we just bought. The reason I gave it only 4 stars was because we haven't even had it a month yet, therefore didn't give it 5 stars.

I purchased this to augment an existing TV that just wasn't cutting it in the sound department. I bought a digital optical cable to connect from the TV to the sound bar, so I have not tried it with BT or with plugging in directly, so my review is using the digital optical input. The remote has selections for the 3 different types of 'inputs'. It also has 3 different soundstage settings, but I just use the 'news' setting as I'm trying to 'punch-up' the dialogue in TV shows. Cinema is good only for movies that you don't mind be really loud. My only complaint is that there is no CENTER speaker in the bar, as dialogue is what's missing. The wireless subwoofer works fine in the same room, and no problem connecting- only complaint is that there is a piercing blue LED that flashes when the soundbar is off on the subwoofer. Also confusing if that the red LED on the soundbar is lit when the unit is off, but no indication when it is on. Sound quality: much better than a plastic TV set, but not a BOSE either- but, you're not paying for a Bose. You do get what you pay for, and it does amplify the TV sound well. It also appears to be "in sync" where some soundbars the audio is out of timing with the video - don't have that problem here. So, if you're going to spend under $250, this is a good deal. If you want to spend over $300, then maybe a Sony would be better, but this works for me. PS: Make sure that your TV set stand is tall enough to go over the top of the sound bar, or it will block your remote from working on the TV. Only other complaint is that there isn't more 'fine tuning' of the volume- one notch up is too loud, and one notch down is too low- needs more increments. Also, the volume up button is huge- so you think that you'd push the bottom part of the button to lower it, but it just raises it- there is a separate volume down button on the remote- takes some getting used to.
