I got this as a quick emergency purchase when my stereo died. The first one I bought did not work, mainly the remote and with out it you can't use the system. So far the second one has been working but I did end up getting a universal remote to use instead of the original one. The button batteries are $$$ and AAA batteries are a dime a dozen. I did test and use the Bluetooth on it but only a few times. This is mainly for my TV/gaming.

I bought this to go with my Insignia 55"tv. For under $100.00 I'm very pleased. It was a real challenge watching tv with the tv speakers, the quality was'nt there. This sound bar mounted on the wall right below the tv. All required cables were included and I had the system up and running in under 10 mins. Wow ! what a difference. The bass adds that little extra ummph! The unit works with my existing tv remote ,so the flimsey one that came with it wound up in a drawl anyways. Over all I'm very pleased with the sound quality,and for under $100.00 bucks I'm gonna buy another for my other insigna tv.

This was the first soundbar that we bought for our household and I must say it hasn't disappointed us at all. I read the reviews first prior to purchase and they all spoke highly of the product and it's price tag. I came across a daily deal where it was $50 and decided to take a chance. It has really changed our experience as far as watching movies and just tv period. There is a great level of base and sound quality delivered. Great for our 2 bedroom condo. I would highly recommend this product to those searching for a soundbar that doesn't cost a lot and delivers bang for the buck.

I bought this sound bar without checking any review, just to get the Black Friday deal. So, I came home, unpacking, setup, turn on and love it! The sound is laud and clear, the subwoofer did an excellent job to make the sound more deeper. You can control the subwoofer independently, it's a nice feature. This is only a 2.1 system, but the audio quality is really amazing comparing with other (and more expensive) options. The only downside is the audio inputs. You have L/R, Optical and Bluetooth. No HDMI here. And if you want to use the best option, you'll need to buy your optical fiber cable, once is not included into the box.

Looked at many different soundbars but they cost more than the TV! This sound bar sounds great and is reasonably priced. the only draw back is there is no volume symbol or numbers that show how loud or soft the bar is set to. But the other features like the sub-woofer and having Bluetooth more than make up for it!

The bass could be better but the sound bar is nice and very loud. Insignia deserves a lot of credit for the nice products they make. There’s no bells and whistles here. Just a simple sound bar with bass speaker. The bass is decent but I don’t like the fact that the blue light on the back of the speaker flashes so brightly. It just seems weird and distracting in the dark. Got this on sale when it went down to $50, therefore, it was a steal!

This was my first experience with sound bars and setups of such, so I was tentative and instead reviewed the Quick Setup Guide before unpacking the bar and subwoofer. This enabled me the opportunity to also seek advice from DirecTV as to what type of cable(s) I needed to connect the sound bar to the source output: RCA for older widescreen HDTV's and optical digital audio cables for modern day receivers including recent model HDTV's. DirecTV sent me both the RCA red/white single 3.5 mm adaptor to connect to the longer RCA red/white cable and the 10-pin round connector cable with red/white/yellow connectors. They included in the shipment an HDMI cable which was not needed, but I praise DirecTV for shipping all for the sake of being thorough and availing me these choices. My first try with the RCA cable and adaptor failed as the sound bar emitted static. I moved on to the composite 10-pin cable and all was well with the sound bar when I proceeded to the sub-woofer. No response at first and followed instructions to reset the pairing pins on the rear of each (bar and sub-woofer) to switch the red lights to green then all was not only well, but even better. Sound bar is wonderful, but sub-woofer puts icing on the cake and the sound is fantastic. It was all about the set-up and not understanding the compatible cable connections on my part, but now after succeeding connecting the system to the satellite receiver with the composite cable, will move the system into the major living area to connect it to that satellite receiver with the optical digital audio cable that I have put back for the NFL season to begin on Sept. 7, 2017. The learning curve was not too steep albeit it took me a few hours to stumble through. Will know better next time. Great system; and thanks to Best Buy for having the initiative and wherewithal to include the Quick Setup Guide with the Owner's Manual that was not needed to refer to. The Setup Guide is seemingly adequate except maybe to review the Owner's Manual for advanced trouble-shooting. By the way, after initial assembly and turning on the sound bar, I could not get the remote to respond despite removing the battery tab as instructed. I replaced the battery with an idientical CR-2025 from an a/c window unit's remote and then the sound bar's remote worked fine. I suppose the batteries wear down even during warehouse storage. No big deal; am glad that was all that was wrong with the remote. Would much rather go buy a new CR2025 battery than returning the entire system to Best Buy.

Easy set up. Very good sound, much better than the TV. Can set for the type of sound you want, and the wireless sub-wooffer is great. You can place it anywhere.

I purchased this soundbar the day before Christmas. It was a simple hookup and only took 5 minutes to set up. I believe I just received a lemon and I couldn't get the sub to stay connected. After several attempts of hitting the reset buttons on both the bar and the sub, it would disconnect. I would have to unplug the sub and it would connect again and only stay connected for a few minutes at a time. So, I took the unit back and swapped it for a new one the following Tuesday after Christmas. After connecting the new unit I have been impressed with this soundbar. I have mine hooked up with just basic RCA cables and the sound is clear with deep rich bass. At 99.00 this is a steal. It does have a small remote but, with the Insignia tv I just purchased, the unit comes on when I hit the power button on the TV. The Bluetooth connection is simple as well. Like most any big purchases, I don't buy anything without an extended warranty which was 19.99 for 4 years. I gave it four stars simply because of having to return the first one. If it last through the four years it will be worth it. I'm very satisfied with this product and would buy another one. Things happen and I just got a bad unit the first time. I have a small living room and it fills the room with sound. I will hook it up with the optical cable when I dig one out of closet when I get the chance. Not much else to say about this unit. Simple hookup, great sound and easy Bluetooth connection. I would recommend getting that extended warranty. If you don't, that's your problem, if you do, it's their problem. Always great service from Best Buy :)

This is a sound bar i purchased to go in my basement. It has good sound quality for the price. Great for an average size room. Love that it is wireless

I purchased a soundbar 2 years ago at another store because it was a good price. I had to return it because it wasn’t compatible with our tv in the living room. We were skeptical for years after to purchase another one. Well a trip to our local BB and that changed. Not only did the sales associate Ashtin help us and educate us, but we found one that was open box and the same brand as our tv! We were excited and still are because now we practically have a movie theater in our living room!

I am very impressed with the sound quality for the money. Very easy to set up. My big complaint is the ability to control the volume. If you change the volume one click it makes a huge difference. It will go from too loud, cant hold a conversation in the same room, to too quiet to hear it with only one click.

Bought this on a whim for my 40-inch TV in the bedroom does the job well can get very loud and good powerful bass not super sophisticated but definitely better than I expected got it on a one-day deal for $49 if you don't want to spend a lot of money get it when it goes on sale don't know if I would pay full price I've had many Insignia products and they've all been very good

Loving our sound bar. Great price for our budget. Has a nice woofer too that vibrates the kitchen floor upstairs. Fun for gaming!

With great bass, good sound quality, and the ability to go wireless via Bluetooth this soundbar is an incredible value
