My fiance wanted a good surround sound system. We don't have a huge house, so I thought a decent sound bar would work. I picked this one as a decent mid-grade system to hold us over until we could afford a better one, but this one is great. The sound is true theater sound. I came home the other day and my fiance was watching a movie and my cabinet doors in the kitchen would rattle for the battle scenes. One thing I do love about it is that it amplifies the voice in movies over background music. I always hated watching stuff and you cant hear the dialog because the soundtrack is drowning out the speech. This system divides it out and amplifies the voice so that is no longer a problem. Also, we stream music through it. The sound quality is great. I bought the same system for my adult son. He said when he is gaming, it startles him when a grenade is dropped because the resonance is realistic through the bar. For a decent priced bar, this one exceeded my expectations.

The Insignia Sound Bar with Wireless Subwoofer is obviously not in competition with the higher end sound equipment available. It is, however, a really great sounding, easy to install piece of very appreciated sound equipment which is a wonderful upgrade to just the TV speakers I was previously listening to. The Black Friday pricing at Best Buy made it a must buy well worth it..

Great sound bar and subwoofer, works awesome and was very affordable! Only issue was that it did not come with an optical cable and cords provided were not compatible with my tv. Be sure that you either have an optical cord on hand or your tv has a compatible system! Once up and running this is an awesome product!

I like to think I'm still young, but I'm actually old....67! My hearing is not what it once was, for sure. I was bummed that I couldn't hear my new tv on HBO, Starz, etc! My cable guy suggested I go to Best Buy and purchase a sound bar, so I did!!! It is FABULOUS!! What a huge difference in hearing my shows, y'all. Now my baby sister, aged 64, is telling all her friends to hurry to Best Buy and get a sound bar with subwoofer, too!! I love it!!

This was a impromptu purchase on Thanksgiving. I've had Insignia TVs and found them to be comparable to other name named televisions. So the sound bar with wireless Subwoofer for $99 was a No-Brainer. The Best Buy associate suggested the optical cable which is a must and makes installation easy. Great sound and bass, enough to be commonly mistake for surround sound. Plus its Bluetooth enabled for music from your mobile devices. Great product at a reasonable price.

This soundbar puts out a lot of sound and the sub woofer is very good too. The Bluetooth is a nice touch.

I moved out of my parents house and had a full surround sound system in my room. I was looking for something that would be similar to that sound but for an apartment.
I thought maybe for the price it wouldnt perform the way I wanted, but I gave it a try, WOW its amazing! I really love the different sound options on the remote. And it has a really loud bass, we actually just got a noise complaint (but we did have it to loud)

This was just going in the bedroom and the speakers on the TV suck. I wasn't expecting much for the $ it cost, but wow it really is a great deal the sound is better then I thought I was getting. The only real downfall I see or hear LOL is that the steps in volume and to far spaced, in the bedroom at night it is to loud or to soft.

Purchased this on sale <$40. It's a great value and sounds solid for a basic setup or for somebody looking for some extra oomph with the sub. I'll admit the remote is pretty bad, lack of HDMI passthrough stinks, and it's hard to tell if it's on or not sometimes.
But what can you really ask for at this price?

I've never owned a sound system for my tv. The price was $100 for this soundbar with subwoofer so I went for it. The sound is awesome! The control is very basic with just a volume up and down, plus a subwoofer volume up and down. It's way better than the tiny 5watt tv speakers. Makes you feel like you're in the movie theater. My only question is should I have bought a 3.1 channel instead of a 2.1 but for the price I'm happy with the 2.1

So I picked this up for $50 deal of the day. Bargain price for quality sound! Initial set up was a breeze, be sure to pick up an optical cable. Took me 5 mins and it was up and running. Filled up the master bdrm nicely. Sound is crisp and clear, you can adjust the sub as well. Syncs to my phone and tv. It's perfect for small rooms, not sure how it would sound in a bigger room but for $50 it's a steal!

Great sound for the buck that you pay. I would give this 5 stars but the only thing holding me back is that the box comes with everything but optical cables, that you need to buy seperate which I didn't know until after I opened the box. Otherwise, this is a 5 star product! Makes your viewing experience 10 times more lit!

I bought this sound bar for my parents for Christmas to go with their new insignia TV. It replaced the sound system they had had for nearly 3 decades, so this was certainly and upgrade. The install was quick and easy on my own, and the sound is good (for those that aren't too particular about audio). For the price it was perfect.

Picked this sound bar up during the Black Friday sales. We previously had a Insignia sound bar that just didn't get loud enough (we just bought a basic one for around $100) so we were a little worried we'd have the same problem with this Insignia. Not at all. When we crank it up, the bass rocks the house. Also the Bluetooth Subwoofer allows you to place it any where you want since there are no cables to restrict you!

Got a new 4K TV to replace the old one in my Bedroom and figured I should get a Soundbar as well! Checked it out in store and was surprised it also came with a woofer! Sound is great for my bedroom! Still a bit too much but great sound for the $$$... Only negative is the volume bounces from too high to, too low on the control!

The quality of the sound bar is pretty decent for a compact house. The sub woofer compliments the sound bar and gives a decent output quality. Don't know how long it would run as i already had some issues within 4 months of purchase with the bar which got replaced though as I purchased Geek squad.
