I also got this on sale as you can see I purchase this Nov of 2015, purchased on cyber sale

A clear and powerful sound for the price

It is vast improvement over the TV speakers. I highly recommend a sound system, and if you don't want to spend a lot of money, this is the system for you.

I would be more comfortable paying $60. I would rather spend an extra $40 for a Vizio or something. Very light and cheaply made.

Plenty of low end, annoying flashing light and hum

The sound bar suffered from 3 flaws IMHO. First and the smallest issue was a flashing blue LED on the subwoofer which was very bright (flashed when bar was in sleep mode). Also the bar hummed loudly using the 3.5 mm (Headphone) jack which I used so I didn't need to use the sound bar remote to control the volume. Lastly the bar doesn't come on when it senses input via either the digital optical or 3.5 mm ports unlike the LG sound bar I exchanged it for.
