    After much trepidation, I finally removed the hard drive from my broken laptop and successfully installed it into the enclosure. Worked like a charm. I was able to access old photos that I have a recently deceased childhood friend. I will cherish those pictures forever!

    This SSD drive enclosure is meeting my needs very well. I appreciate the inclusion of the USB-C to USB-A adapter. My only suggestion is in regards to reopening the case after initial installation. It's a little tougher than I would like. I would definitely buy this again if needed

    I love this SSD drive enclosure. For the price it’s pretty unbelievable. You can connect it to your Mac, Laptop or PC for extra drive space and it’s fantastic on the go. Plus it’s great for transferring information from an old drive to a new one. Buy one you won’t be disappointed.

    This device was very disappointing to me. However my top criteria is speed. I do video work with massive 4,6 & 8K video files. I installed a SanDisk Ultra 3D NAND SSD. The drive is rated up to 530 MB/s write and 560 read. Using BlackMagic Design disk speed test, it achieved a whopping 33 MB/s R/W. That same drive in another interface achieved 365 MB/s R/W, WOW a 10X difference. If you're not a power video editor and just want to backup or transport files and photos then it's a cool enclosure. No tools required.
