Easy set up and convenient to use. It does take a minute or so for the software to gel and your information to show up on the screen.

The purpose is to use used hard drives as storage and a way of transferring very large amounts of data from computer to computer. This handles this very well.

Good sturdy, holds my external hybrid HDD. Sturdy, easy to use and I love how easy it is to pull it out and swap the HDD if i need to.

I can get data easily, move it and update it as well. I'm satisfied with it so far, although it hasn't been too long since I purchased it.

This is a great way to access my older drives and extra drives , it really saved me from tossing my old one and losing data from 2 others, it was easy to set up and the only hard part might be removing without a tool. I am going to order another one soon for an old laptop. I recommend using good cables and the right port for speed as the regular USB is much slower. That's important to keep in mind if you were thinking of Fast transfers.

Well fitting. Cable with extra adaptor is handy. SSD I installed is fast. No drivers needed.

Great item to make your old, or new, hard drive running and useful again. Easy to connect the drive, then close the case. Plug it on and there’s your extra storage!

Had to replace a faulty SATA-to-USB-A adapter and this USB-C enclosure is perfect. Much better protection for my SSD driver and USB-C allows much faster data transfer. Very easy to install the drive...no skill required...and it's plug-n-play from there. Couldn't be simpler.

I've used this on multiple computers and devices and found the transfer speed to be good. I had some problems when using the USB-A adapter that comes with it, but that might be related to my computer. No problems when not using the adapter. No separate power cable needed.

I had a 2.5” 1TB hard drive left over from my SSD upgrade. A lot of amazon enclosurers had bad port selection; USB-A to USB-A or USB-B, mini-USB, unremovable cables or all sorts of funky configurations. This best buy enclosure is one of the cheapest I found and also has a USB-C port on it, and comes with a USB-C to USB_C cable with a USB-C to A adapter included (take a shot for every time I said USB). So, it’s future proof and you can replace the cable in case of failure. Installation was easy and tool free; mine fit right in but it also comes with sticky pads if you have a thinner drive. This is a great way to repurpose old drives or just have an external storage device for cheaper. Mostly plastic, but gets the job done and also looks sleek and great.
