The hard drive was full and not worth repairing. This helped us immensely to recover our data, and re-use the old hard drive as a portable drive now. A great recommendation by the geek squad crew.

A cheaper way to upgrade your Xbox

Great drive case

After getting it home I realized I could just leave the old hard drive in there when it's done and now I have a an external backup hard drive it feels its purpose very well I'm glad I bought it. Also easy to swap out hard drives in it is you need to cuz there's no tools needed

Case cant be enclosed with a 4tb

Great SSA or HHD enclosure! Very versatile!

I then updated to a M.2 NVMe 1TB drive C and kept the HHD as drive E storage. Eventualy the HHD was replaced with a 1TB SSD. The USB HDD enclosure now holds the original 1TB HHD and is used for backup storage. Without the SATA enclosure the SATA HHD would be unused and collecting dust. Nice that it can be attached using either USB-C or USB-A/B.
