Great SSA or HHD enclosure! Very versatile!

I then updated to a M.2 NVMe 1TB drive C and kept the HHD as drive E storage. Eventualy the HHD was replaced with a 1TB SSD. The USB HDD enclosure now holds the original 1TB HHD and is used for backup storage. Without the SATA enclosure the SATA HHD would be unused and collecting dust. Nice that it can be attached using either USB-C or USB-A/B.

Great Use of a Old Hard Drive

This immediately turned it into a decent portable hard drive. The read/write speeds are pretty good and the enclosure comes with little, soft pads to prevent any rattling around of the hard drive during transit. Overall, worth the purchase.

Saved my HDD

Saved all of my illustrated parts lists, wiring diagrams and more. Extremely easy to assemble and could even easily swap drives out. Would most definitely buy again.

Enclosure saved me money

It was east to set up and works great.

This is really helpful because not only does it protect my SSD, but it also connects to my computer with usb or usb c.

Easy way to access a troublesome drive

It was easy to plug the drive in and our other computer recognized it right away as an external drive.
