It works like it should. It didn’t work for me as I was trying to retrieve data from a corrupt hard drive but no faults with the enclosure.

I purchased it to get vital information from a laptop which was not working on, and I was able to get it. It really saved my life at that moment! I will recommend it to any person on my possition

I needed to clone an SSD recently for a computer, this product enabled me to do so much more easily than having to, you know, crack the case open and find some SATA cables lying around.

The hard drive case is excellent for converting an internal hard drive into an external one. Installation is super easy. It took less than 2 minutes to get it up and running. Highly recommended.

Exactly what I needed to save my data from laptop that crashed and burned. Take hard drive out of laptop and put into this then plug into USB port on Desktop, all my work from laptop right there.

After I installed the new SSD in my laptop, I had a 1 TB HDD just lying around, so I have now made that my external. With this enclosure, it is very simple to do. It is a great product.

First time buying a hard rive or SSD drive enclosure and so far everything is good.

We had an employee wreck a laptop. We pick up this product to try and get info out of the hard drive. After using this product it is like having the laptop back. Everything that was on it now fits in our pocket, and is easily retrieved quickly.

It's a pretty simple accessory. Have a spare 2.5" ATA drive? Maybe one you're repurposing from an old laptop? Slide it in, attach the end cap with two screws, and you now have an external USB hard drive. A small Philips screwdriver is supplied. The USB connector on the enclosure is Micro-B, and the other end of the cable is USB Type-A, so you'll want to use the supplied cable.

i used this item to get files off of my previous hard drive. it was a very easy process!! i was able to link up the hard drive to my current computer and grab all necessary files.

Great product for reading a hard drive out of my crashed macbook pro. Was able to recover files that would have been lost. Even come with its own screwdriver.

These are good. Bought 2 of them. You do have to disassemble to mount drives. Good enclosures and works well!
