Super easy to use, plugged in an SSD and worked like a champ. Case is pretty heavy duty.

Needed an enclosure for a hard drive that came from a broken computer. Came as expected and drive fit perfectly into the enclosure. Plugged in and it came up with no issues.

I replaced my hard drive in my laptop with an SSD and wanted to make use of the old hard drive. I was able to install it in the enclosure easily and use it as an external USB drive. The drive fits snuggly in the enclosure and the kit even comes with a screw driver.

I had to repurpose a Mac Mini into a Test Server a couple of weeks ago, but I didn't want to lose the contents of the old Mini drive. So, the old drive comes out of the Mini and into this great little enclosure. The speed is sufficient for what my needs (occasionally pulling old files as I need them) and the price is great.

I came across an old SATA SSD from a broken PC and bought this to turn into a portal drive. Installation was easy and it came with it's own Philips head tool. It powers up, registers, and stores files without any issues.

Works just as described. It turned a spare hard drive into an external storage drive. It was much cheaper they buying a new external hard drive and let me use a spare drive I already had. It was very economical.

Been using these for years as laptops never seem to last as long as I’d like to use them. When the motherboard invariably kicks the bucket (looking at you HP) this little enclosure is the perfect tool to salvage all your local data off the 2.5” HDD. If you can turn a screwdriver, then you should have no problem pulling the HDD and popping it into this thing. Afterward, you’ll have a handy external drive to back up files, share data, or carry around video/music files. Just be sure you have a 2.5” HDD—some laptops use a smaller size and there is no enclosure for those. There are however some nice SATA to USB cables on the market that will do the same job, at least as far as letting you recover your old files.

I bought this enclosure for a 250GB drive that was in a PS3 after upgrading that system. Installing the drive was a simple matter. Instructions included were very clear. The enclosure seems very solid and well-made. No problems so far. I formatted the drive on my Mac laptop and the USB3 seems nice and fast.

Had an external hard-drive that needed new housing. I bought this and immediately loved not only how easy it was to put the drive in the housing but how durable the housing is. I would definitely recommend this to anyone in need.

This enclosure works great. Small and lightweight. It was a big help in imaging my laptop HDD to a SSD. Now I have another backup drive.

Perfect for updating your old laptop hard drive with a speedy ssd drive. Clone your old drive, swap the drives, use the old drive in the enclosure as a backup. Great price, too.

I bought this with my solidstate hard drive. I used it to migrate from my old hard drive to the solid state drive. Now it houses the old hard drive for me to use as a backup drive. It included a USB cable and a small Phillips screwdriver that worked fine for removing and installing the drive,

Fits all my old hard drives, regardless of make. This case makes these old drives more portable, as it is easier to carry them. And it also makes the plug standard to connect it from the case to my current computer. Love this!

Use any 2.5 inch HDD externally on any computer, tablet, etc. Comes with USB cable, HDD not included, excellent product to expand the memory on any device with a USB port, buy this case and a hard disk drive, download music, movies, etc, in it and you are set to go, It's very portable.

I love a good open box sale. This item is brand new, just returned. I got it for I think close to 50% off its original price. It was extremely easy to put in a sad SSD drive. It came with the screws and tightened up very easily. It’s lightweight, yet solid. The only thing Preventing me from giving it five stars is that it does not have another USB port so you can daisychain another device, which usually means you have to get a powered hub for your computer, and also that it doesn’t have an external power supply option. I don’t expect something of this price to include the power supply, but I would like and enclosure that gives me the option to provide my own as some computers and hard drives perform better or even require external power. But for the price I paid, it did the trick and I can’t complain

Best best best little case ever made!! So easy to use. It was a breeze. Just removed from hard drive from my laptop and slipped it into the hard drive cover. Attached the wires to the hard drive case and my new laptop and boom!! Instant external hard drive.

Good external ssd or hdd enclosure. I have three and all work flawlessly. SSD runs at about 250 Mb/s.

I've replaced hard drives a half dozen times to go bigger. As I pull the old drive out, I have it put in one of these enclosures. You get a new external drive that way. It is lie recycling a hard drive, very handy.

Needed to swap out a couple of hard drives from different laptops, Windows and Mac and this was absolutely perfect. A solid shell with 2 good screws holding the plastic plate makes it easy to swap out hard drives. Drives fit in quite snug with very little room for movement.
