I purchased for my college dorm bedroom and it was so loud I could not sleep for the nights I had it. The first night was good but after that there was a loud popping and gurgling noise coming from the compressor. When the compressor turned on there was always a loud pop and it drove me insane. If you're not using it for a bedroom or media room, I would say it's decent but for my application it sucked. It also came with a dent in the door even though the box was not damaged at all. I read all the reviews and I would say there are very mixed thoughts. My thought is quality control is not the best so some bad ones slip through like mine. I would've gotten another one to try it but by the time I went back I just spent some more and got a better quality unit.
