Makes perfect rice every time and is easy to clean. Comes with measuring cup for rice and water; plastic, non scratch spoon for serving; and basket for steaming vegetables. The Teflon coating on the pot makes cleaning very easy. And the glass lid provides a window for observing the rice. Just add the rice, water and any seasoning you want, push down the lever to initiate cooking, and wait until the lever flips up to indicate the rice is ready to eat. After the unit finishes the cooking mode, it automatically goes into warming mode to keep your rice hot until you’re ready to serve. It couldn’t be easier and well worth the money for rice-lovers like me.

I love it! I Google search for a while to try and find a rice cooker that a higher hold capacity, wasn't too expensive and was of a good quality. Then I saw this beauty and I saw that it was sold at Best Buy (BB). I have bought 2 HP laptops, a HP desktop and other well needed electronics and appliances from BB so I knew the price, style snd quality of the rice maker would be up to BB's customer's standards. Buy it and you will not be disappointed. Just set it and go. Perfect rice all the time. No other complicated buttons or settings to confuse you if you are looking for a simple but yet great rice maker. I use Japanese sushi style rice for most of my dishes and Jasmine and Basmati occasionally and they all come out perfect. My 10 and 6 yr old argue over you will pour in the rice snd cook it because it so easy that they can assist with dinner making. No need to guess the water ratio. It comes with a cup and 1 cup of water to 1 cup of rice ratio. There is an engraved line numbers that is your water amount line. Read no further than this review and PURCHASE THIS RICE COOKER!

I use this to replace an old rice cooker. This works quite well for cooking rice and for steam cooking. I use it to heat up our siopao. It's easy to clean and cooks rice very well assuming you put the right amount of rice/water ratio. It's small enough to feed 2-3 people. I'm happy with this purchase.

This Bella rice cooker has been quite useful, mainly for the quick clean up. It will make a large amount and keep it warm. Very good in that way! My rice turns out a bit dry while using this rice cooker, but I haven’t added any butter like I usually do on the range. It tends to foam up while cooking, but that is probably because I haven’t rinsed the rice first as the directions say you should. I just lift the lid, turn it down for a minute or two and then turn it back up to finish. Not too hard, because I’m usually in the kitchen. I’m glad I bought it as one of Best Buy’s Deal of the Day specials. I’ve bought a number of Bella appliances this way and like them all!

Great deal for the price. It's a no frills rice cooker that is simple to use and produces consistently good rice. Only ever done Thai Jasmine, but it turns out perfect everytime if you unplug it right when lever 'clicks' @ the end of the cycle.

Great deal! I bought this item as “the deal of the day” for $14.99. I was skeptical at first, because I thought it was going to be small but it’s just what I needed and makes my cooking experience that much easier. No more burnt or soggy rice!

So easy to clean and cooks well. It's a good size for a family. I had a smaller one that wasn't non stick and dreaded it for cleaning, but this one is really nice.

Great for college student to cook simple meals. Pasta with sauce, ramen noodles, scrambled eggs, any kind of eggs, heat leftovers, grilled cheese sandwiches…makes great rice, too.

I had bought a few bags of cheap rice, like $1.50 for 5 lbs, and COULD NOT properly prepare it on the stove. I couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong. I was following all the directions and it was still coming out grainy, and pretty much inedible. I saw this on a deal of the day and thought I would give it a try. I figured for the price it was worth a shot, otherwise I was just going to throw the rice out. I don't know the science involved, or if it's alchemy or witchcraft, but I put that cheap rice in this cooker and about 35 mins later a white fluffy pile of deliciousness was right there in front of me. For something so simple it made all of the difference. No more worrying, or struggling with cooking regular rice. I can't wait to try different varieties now that I am not scared of the process. This has found a home in my kitchen cabinets, which is not an easy thing for any kitchen gadget to do.

I purchase this rice cooker for my son for Christmas and he has used it at least 2 times per week. He and his girlfriend make a pot big enough to last them a couple of days and love the convenience. the rice comes out very fluffy and the inside is easy to wash. this will be good for a family of 4 (my guess)

It's a good and cheap old school rice cooker. Very easy to use and good size for a few people.

I have used this now a number of times and had great results. I like that it can steam food while rice is cooking. It can be used also for heating soups. Rice cooks without burning on bottom. It’s a pretty brainless operation. Flip a switch and it does the work for you and then keeps it warm. Cleanup is easy & fast also.

Really easy to use. The scoop of rice to water ratio is 1 to 1, so couldn't be easier to remember. Just add those 2 ingredients and flip the switch. Rice generally comes out better than on the stove top, at least for me. So for the low price, you really can't go wrong here.
