Really easy to use. The scoop of rice to water ratio is 1 to 1, so couldn't be easier to remember. Just add those 2 ingredients and flip the switch. Rice generally comes out better than on the stove top, at least for me. So for the low price, you really can't go wrong here.

I love this rice cooker! It is so simple to use and makes perfect rice. It also makes grits and oatmeal. I have had no issues. It is as good as the day that I bought it. I haven't had real good luck with the steamer for veggies on top of the rice cooking but that was no big deal.

Rice cookers are amazing. Once you try one you can never go back. The price ranges on these are kind of insane to me considering how well this one worked (pretty cheap). Don’t understand how much better the $100 ones could possibly work. Save yourself the money.

Love, love, love using this rice pot, Why did it take me so long to buy a rice pot? Rice is easy thing to cook for me but who knew it could be easier. I love using it this pot! It is easy to use, clean and store. It can also steam vegetables at the same time. It makes rice fool proof to make. I should of gotten one earlier.

This was a great purchase, can't believe waited this long to buy one. Cooking real rice was super easy with great taste. Was such good deal at $20 that bought extra one for daughter, who also instantly loved it. Great for making plain rice, flavored rice with herbs & veggies on top with included insert tray.

I thought I would not like this pot when I purchased it. My first time using it I fell in love. It was so easy to use and the rice came out better than any rice I have ever made. It was nice and fluffy and no sticking. I will be using thus pot from now on. Thinking if buying a larger one.

Works just as advertised. Easy and simple to use. Haven't used the streamer that was included yet, but the rice is perfect every time. I do rinse the rice first to remove starch per the instructions. Deal of the day pricing makes it to good to pass up.

This is a very enjoyable appliance. For the record I can cook rice successfully without it. I just like the ease of setting it and not having to constantly check on it. Especially running around doing other chores. Easy to use and cleans up well. Plus it doesn’t take up a lot of space.

I have a huge 8QT instant pot that does it all. My rice was coming out OK but now that I have this rice cooker, I get perfect rice every time. Not to mention it’s cute and small yet perfect size/doesn’t take up a lot of counter space. Comes with steamer and spatula. Got it for $10!!!

My wife insisted she could make rice in a pot like she always has, but I learned some rice tastes better with a cooker. Boy was I right! The rice IS MUCH BETTER! And my wife says cleaning the cooker is a breeze.

So far I have made white and brown rice, both turned out as they should. I question leaving rice in the pot on warm setting for very long as it slightly browned the bottom after a few hours. However, I could have mitigated this by stirring regularly. The little vent hole sprays water out so I put it on a towel. Works great. Easy to clean, how long it lasts will determine its overall value. Happy rice eater.

I have been looking for a high-quality and yet affordable rice cooker in the market. Insignia is not the top of the line brand but it certainly is low cost and will yield the same results or even better. It cooks rice very fast and conveniently. When I go home and hungry, I just put 1-2 cups of rice, add water and wait for 15-20minutes, then it will be ready to serve. This product is highly recommended! I have been using it for more than six months. It's working great!

My old rice cooker finally is at it's last leg and I figure I give this Insignia brand a chance since I've bought other Insignia products and so far are all very reliable and at a good price when on sale. Easy to use and clean, perfect size for one person or up to four people, depending on their eating habit.
