I feel like a caveman now if I have to make rice elsewhere and not have this. This appliance is my friend to the end. Simple, intuitive and effective performing its job to a fault every time.

Great value product that it easy to use and makes great rice

My wife says she's kicking herself for not trying one of these sooner. We caught it on a deal of the day and had a $10 cert to use so it was basically free. This thing makes great rice and is extremely easy to use. The first batch of basmati rice she made for a curried chicken dish came out perfect.

I used to always make rice in a regular pot, it saves counter space too! But after the hurricane in 2020, we lost our house and weren't able to use our stove. This made making rice in the RV very convenient. We actually had gotten this on sale, as well! So it was a great find and VERY inexpensive, but VERY convenient for our situation. Once in a blue moon, I still make rice on the stove, but 95% of the time we have this baby (we actually gave our other away and purchased a new one), so I can throw them all in the pot, flip the switch down to cook and easily go on my merry way. Very easy to clean, simple to store, and very useful! Especially if you get busy and don't want your rice to burn lol.

For the price can't beat the cooker. Great rice and easy to make.

Caught this on sale and got free shipping because it was near Christmas. Made perfect rice, automatically. Easy clean up as the interior pot slides out easily. Very happy with this purchase. No more having to watch the pot to keep it from boiling over, or scorching due to forgetting it.

Had a fancy rice steamer, but the pot was teflon coated and started to blister. Cost less to purchase the Insignia 2.6 quart rice cooker, brand new, than the replacement pot. Figured I'd try it. The design is simple... the weight of the pot of rice lifts off of the sensor to change from cook to warm. Makes perfect rice. Easy-to-use measure cup provides ease of measurement... 4 cups of rice, use the 4 line for filling up water. Only reason a 4-star rating was for the vegetable steaming. MAKE SURE YOUR SUPERVISE STEAMING VEGETABLES BECAUSE IT WILL BURN IF THE WATER IN THE BOTTOM ON THE POT COOKS OFF. I steamed my cauliflower too long, burned off the water, and could smell the burning. My own fault, as I went past the recommended steaming time. Liked this so well for the rice that I purchased one for my daughter-in-law.

I bought this to replace an old, cheap Black and Decker rice cooker of a similar style that I had for a couple years. I was looking at one of the nicer $100 rice cookers but my wife nixed that idea. I found this unit on sale for $13 and thought for that price, it might be a good hold over until I can convince my wife for something better. Even though it looked similar to my old rice cooker, there was a noticeable uptick in quality with the Insignia one. What pleased me the most with this unit was that the rice did not stick on the bottom! In my old unit, there would always be a thin layer of rice burned/stuck to the bottom. Not the case here! All the rice comes out of the bowl quite easily. Needless to say, I would absolutely purchase this unit again. It is an absolute steal and even at full price ($20) it is cheaper than any of the questionable units I saw on Amazon.

I've had a few rice cookers by other brands fail on me over the last 2 years. I'm giving this one a shot, and so far, its extremely easy, cooks well, and is an incredible value. Very glad I purchased it.

I love this rice cooker. Not much to say except it cooks rice perfectly and it's big too. The steamer basket is perfect for steaming veggies while the rice cooks. East clean up too with the non-stick. Simple and works good. What more can you ask for?

I love this rice cooker!! This is my second one and the only reason why I needed another one is because I broke mine. But it’s very convenient easy to clean and it doesn’t take a lot of space! Also very basic and easy to use! I definitely recommend it to everyone

Good product for a good price compact and easy to clean

I have been using this rice cooker since two months, so far for my family of four, it is meeting our expectations. Non-sticky, small size, and fitting with budget are its features. I bought it as a replacement for 10 cup rice cooker, so for so good. No complain!

I am very happy and satisfied with this purchase of rice cooker. It is so easy to use, clean, and operate to prepare steamed rice for a meal, or dinner. The price is very reasonable with a great look. It takes just few minutes to prepare rice and does not take up too much space in kitchen.

This rice cooker is a great size and works well! I love being able to cook rice quick and easy. I would definitely recommend this product if you're looking for an easy way to cook rice.

I purchased this for my son away at college. It's perfect for him and roommates. Just add some meat and a salad and they have a quick healthy meal. Easy to use, clean and store.

Outstanding product. Used frequently for cokking rice in addition to steam vegetables. Steamer basket small if intended to use for large family, but sufficient for up to 3-4 individuals. The rice cooker potnis perfect size to feed up to six servings. Easy to clean. Recommend keep on warm for a short period of time as the excess heat will cause rice to burn, however this occurred once after leaving rice warming for morenthan an hour, which can be expected.

Rice cooker works great and just the right size for my family. Trust the Insignia brand from Best Buy and have numerous other appliances from them.

Excellent quality, work perfect, unbeatable price. Comparable to high priced rice cookers. It costs less than $12 and works just as well or better.

We had a rice cooker for the past decade and loved it. This was a replacement and it is better than the one we had before. This cooks great and is easy to use. Also, a great price. I am very pleased with it.
