A life saver, I used it to connect my hdd with my laptop to get old damaged data and it is perfect and easy to use

Works as advertised. I have owned several of these throught out the past years. The one flaw I have discovered with them is that they get slower and slower over time. I bought this one today because the one I had was not performing well. Setup new one I just purchased and all is fine. I guess I am going to make it a habit to replace this more often.

I had an ssd conk out in my secondary desktop so I read the reviews and purchased this docking station. The reviews were all positive and I took the chance and am not disappointed. I was able to troubleshoot the failed drive without having to place it in another pc, which was awesome. I also had two mechanical drives I pulled from a couple of desktops years ago and I placed them in the dock and immediately had access to all the files on the drive so now I can move them to external storage. Works with mechanical and ssd drives. A must have for all pc enthusiasts!!

This pr;duct does exactly what it was designed to do, I used it to save 2 hard drives that had stopped working and didn’t show up on my computer. I can now use them in this dock to save games and files and I also put one I had fixed in a computer and it is working fine

Works great. I was able to retrieve all the data on my 2007 desktop hard drive.

Easy to use hook it up just got to be careful on what you do with your drives I suggest making nickname for dry eyes when you need it besides that works good

I needed an easy way to transfer and save files and pictures from old computers hard drives, that I had removed from them before scrapping. Works flawlessly, every drive shows as a great big jump drive.

It just works right out of the box. I got this to transfer between and old computers hard drives to new ones and it was as easy as plugging it in and that’s it. The use of multiple drives of multiple sizes at once is a great feature.

Works like a charm when transferring raw information from one drive to another.. great device to consolidate your data and files

Excellent ease of use to grab data off old hdd and ssds. Ended up just leaving it plugged in as a cheap nas-style drive bay.

The HDD Docking station was an investment made to try to get my data from an old hdd. The process is a bit convoluted in terms of instructions. Ultimately, I had to take my hdd to a recovery expert due to drive issues.

I use this drive rack all the time to retrieve users data from computers that no longer boot up. fast and reliable. plug and play

The equipment itself is top-notch, excellent speeds and really easy to use. I gave 3 stars because i bought it "pre-opened" with the Best Buy "It's just like new" or whatever sticker on it, and when I got it home, NO CORDS WERE IN THE BOX. For the $4 I saved, I wish I'd bought a brand new one, because the hassle and stupidity I had to go through was NOT worth it.

Perfect for getting data off old hard drives! Easy to set up and use

I have used this bay several times to slave damaged drives for info recovery, as well as hdd to SSD migrations. It works very well. The black color really blends in nicely to my desk, but the branding is a bit large... Insignia in big silver letters on the front. The only complaint besides that would be the power supply. It's a big plug mounted transformer that is taking up 3 or 4 plug spaces on my power strip. It would be perfect if it had a single port plug with an in line transformer.

Docking Station seems good when I first got it. Fairly easy to uses not at problem with it at all. But not at durable as I thought it would be. Pro: Ease of use, plugged and play. Light Weight. Con: Loose connection for hard drive bay when connected, If not careful you could snapped the hard drive from the bay and broken the parts off without unlatching it.

Whar a was to orginize your date and change hard drives fast. this take both laptop and desktop drives. very fast.

I've used this drive with both 3.5" and 2.5" HDDs, as well as 2.5" SSDs. Never experienced any issues with the drive. Power light on the front of the unit is helpful to remind you not to forget the power switch hidden on the back. ***STANDARD DISCLAIMER*** Be sure to ensure you have properly ejected your drive from your computer prior to disconnecting the dock's USB connector. The eject buttons on the dock are for physically ejecting the drive, not unmounting it! Failure to eject/unmount via the computer will result in data loss. TLDR: Works well and as advertised. 2 drive capacity is a benefit over other products if you're copying from one device to another.
