Installed in a minute; works perfectly (about a month). I use it for cloning hard drives and for data backups. Handles 2.5" 3.5" and SSD no issues. Works better than the unit i am replacing.

I purchased this following a lightning strike that fried the power supply on my front desk computer. I was able to remove the hard drive from the dead computer and was able to get my business up and running in no time without any lost data.

This worked quickly & effectively to copy old hard drive.

Wouldn’t read 3.5 hard drives. But worked ok with smaller ones after formatting a couple of times.

Bought this to transfer archived photos from old HDDs to SSDs and it did the job perfectly. Now I’ll buy a few more SSDs and I’ll use this to store and play games from.

Have had several different docking stations in the past. All of the previous models had a connector that broke after a while. This one has a different connector that seems to be much better. It will also work with many types of computers.

This device saved me a great deal of time with recovering files from a computer that stopped working. Fortunately the HD was still working and this pretty much loads it as a USB drive. Very helpful and very easy to use!

Super easy to use and very good for the price offered

I purchased the hard drive jar ace to hold my Hard drives from my older Desk top Mac Pro. Set up was simple, removing my old hard drives and plugging them into this device. My Mac Pro 16 inch laptop picked them up quickly and you view them along with your other drives. Great device!!

My old computer would not boot up anymore so I purchased this to transfer my pictures from my old computer to my new one. Really easy to use and I can do this myself instead of having to pay someone else to transfer my pictures.

excellent Reader, great price and easy to work with

I bought this to host my parents old hard drive from a PC that died. This dock makes it easy to install and connect the old hard drive to their new PC. It's connected via USB, you just push the old drive in the top. This sits outside of the computer case on the desk.

It works good. Can run 2 hard drives at once. Either size sata hdd. It is a bit bulky but does the trick.

Works seamlessly with my SATA and SSD. My desktop motherboard failed and I needed access to my financial and tax software, as well as application installation and other files. With the docking station, I was able to access all of these with my laptop computer until I could make necessary repairs. What a life saver!

I had a very knowledgeable salesperson, i told him what i had to do, he showed me this piece and one other, told me the difference and i purchased this and it works perfectly. I pulled my hard drives from my old computers and its like they never left.

Hard drive dock works well. Used for recovering data from old hard drive. This does not duplicate drives directly with operating system. There may be a software program on internet that could offer copying OS. Good for back up on older drives.

I like it but I just returned coz I just bought a wrong disk station. I need m2 so i returned. But i am pretty sure it is really useful.

We bought two of these things to try to recover the data on a RAID-5 disk that had crashed. They did what they were supposed to do, but, alas, the disk was too far gone and we had to pay $5000 to get it recovered.
