Bought a cheap one online and it didn't work. Very unstable. I should have just come bought one of these to begin with. Rock solid.

Been looking for an external hard drive. Since I had old computer nit being used, I decide to take out the hard drive and convert it to external useage. With this product, it has easy to do and use. What a joy!

Our desktop’s motherboard fried and this little device allowed me to retrieve pictures and documentments from the old ha d drive. It took a while for the docking station to recognize the card drive but once it did, it worked well.

Simple and just perfect for what i needed it for. Great buy if you want to clone internal SATA hard drives or just have extra storage. The way it was structured makes it easy to place anywhere without it looking like a WireJungle on your desk. Highly recommend.

It's a good device when needed to recover data to a computer

I've had computers that have died and still wanted to get stuff off their hard drive. This thing worked great with no set up at all. I popped in the old hard drives and could see everything on them.

Works great, needed it to use a corrupted hdd and fix it with my laptop. Has a power switch and can use ssd as well.

Had an old computer that needed a new power supply but I opted to just keep the hard drive and use my laptop. This works great at reading the drive. Doesn't take up much space on my desk. Great buy!

I had an old hard drive that had my grandma’s pictures on it, when she passed my computer went to crap and the hard drive was having problems opening The Operating System but with this I was able to use this to keep the hard drive running and back up my files onto an SSD Drive

I am NOT a computer nut case ---------- I found my old hard drive from 10 yrs ago and wanted to view it,,,, salesman at Best Buy said to get the insignia ---------- he was right,,,put your hard drive in and treat it just like any USB chip. Amazing.

Great for transfering old hdd over. It gets minimal use, but hàndy when it is needed.

I have a lot of loose hard drives that I like to use as extra storage or backups of specific sets of records and this really comes in handy. I had 2 previous ones purchased by a different manufacturer but both eventually had power problems and stopped working. Hope this one lasts longer.

What a great gadget to have, you can use it for either a laptop harddrive or a desk top. It is simple to use, simple to set up and I was able to get all the information I wanted off of all those old computers.

Just a good, solid dock for reading your SATA drives. As a tech, this is a tool I use daily. My other dock got stranded at my office due to C-19, so I needed one to try to recover some data from a drive. This did the trick. I've had faster docks, but this one, while not the fastest, is quite acceptable.

I needed to wipe a hard drive clean to fix a corrupt copy of Windows on a PC I was working on. I plugged the docking station into my laptop and plugged the hard drive into the dock. When I turned on the docking station it showed as a drive on the laptop. Very easy to use.

After a severe storm, my computer would not start. ( Lightning strike).Ordered the HDD docking system to retrieve info from the hard drive and install on my replacement computer. Easy Peasy! Worked great!

I was skeptical about buying this docking station. I had two old “red” hard drives from WD units that just would not work or ran so slowly that it was not worth using them. As soon as I placed the hard drives in the dock, they ran lightning fast! I am pleased to be able to access these drives again.

This works as intended and was helpful for all the old HDD I had lying aroubd over the years. Recommended for the utility and price.

Connection to Windows 10 PC was seamless. I was able to take a 2.5 HDD from the laptop and recover all the photos and documents. The flexibility of using 2.5 or larger disk and having dual slots is perfect for cloning. The light indicators are very useful.
