I purchased this to use the hard drives that were removed from my 3 desktop computers. Geek Squad handled all of that -- easy! That way, I can still use the drives as external drives, thanks to this docking station. Works like a charm. Thank you, Best Buy!

Used both bays concurrently to clone a drive and it performed quickly and accurately. Also used to recover files from a drive that had failed in an All-in-one. Handy device to have around,

Works great, needed it to use a corrupted hdd and fix it with my laptop. Has a power switch and can use ssd as well.

It works good. Can run 2 hard drives at once. Either size sata hdd. It is a bit bulky but does the trick.

Works perfectly for data recovery. Had a couple of old external drives that the USB died on so I shucked them and used the internal SATA interface.

Fast setup. Was able to quickly retrieve the data from my previous computer. I am able to use the hard drive from my old machine with my new computer inexpensively. It is also a quicker, easier, cheaper solution then having Geek Squad recover your data.

This works as intended and was helpful for all the old HDD I had lying aroubd over the years. Recommended for the utility and price.

I have a pile of old drives from past desktops and laptops, East way to access the drives, move data and use them for extra storage! just used it to move my data from my old laptop drive to a new ssd drive.

This looks like a toaster but it is not a toaster (I made sure). Even though it is not a toaster it works similar to a toaster. This reminds me I need a new toaster.

Its a great product, you can hook up two HDD. You can essentially make your own external HDD. It is also great for checking hardrives of old computers which was the primary reason that i used this for. Great product, get it if you can find a discount on it

No problems. Just plug and use. Took a star off only because I would have liked to see the indicator lights on the front not on the top. For me this unit sits high up so I can not see the indicator lights witch are on the top of the unit. Other than that it has been working great.

This worked quickly & effectively to copy old hard drive.

Works with SATA external drives both solid state and disk. handles both 2.5 in. and 3.5 in. also it'shot swap-able. USB port for external hard drives. Self powered so you don't overload your computer power supply. I like it works fine and the price is reasonable.

Works as it should, I have multiple HD’s and SSD’s from various machines over the years. Great way to have a desktop station to check old backup.

I am so happy with this docking station I do lots of video editing and store videos on lots if hard drives. This makes it so easy to change hard drives around and locate my vidoes .

Just what I needed. Easy to use and I didn't have to pay someone $200 plus dollars and wait till Christmas to do the same thing

I have hard drives that are not installed in a computer and this works great for accessing what I need off those hard drives. Helped immensely when I had a computer fail on me and I needed to gain access to a hard drive within that computer.
