An easy way to access an old hard drive to transfer files to another computer.

Used this to clone a couple SSD/HDD for backup and to upgrade a HDD with an SSD. Large style usb so it works with older PC's. Has external power adapter. Worked fine with 3.5 and 2.5inch drives.

Old computer motherboard failed but SSD hard drive was OK. Use the docking station to utilize the SSD drive for backups. Use the USB cable provided, dock the old drive, comes up as additional drive on computer, have at it for whatever. Plug and play, no problems.

I had a bunch of drive sitting around. This is the easy way to look at whats on them. I also used it to recover data off of a damaged hard drive but it was an "off label" fix.

It's a bit clunky, but it has made accessing my saved hard drives from dead laptops far easier. Note it only does SATA drives, and a few of my old drives have even older connectors, but enough were SATA that this is REALLY worth it.

I had two extra SATA drives collecting dust and there was no space in my computer. Luckily, this little device was the perfect choice for adding two extra drives, externally. I can remove them as I please. Easy to use. I backed up my computer to one of the drives.

Did the job for me. very smooth transitioning from old hard drive to new iMac. highly recommend this item if your computer should die suddenly and you need to get your old stuff moved over. very user friendly

I am using this docking station at work for some forensic images of computers. I recommend this to anyone that might have a need to use regular hard drives as external drives or just for long term storage. Works great!

The dock works as I expected. Unfortunately the case is way to light in weight and is thin plastic and so when pressing the eject buttons it looks like they are going to break. The size is also to big (takes more space on my desk than an external drive) and the USB connection cable is short.

I fill up hard drives quickly. So instead I purchased this and a few extra SSD 120g drives and now fill them, take them out, fill them, take them out, each SSD has its own categories. You can use regular internal HDs with it too but they are too bulky for me.

Terrific device for retrieving files from old computers. We've mothballed several over the years and the docking station provided a quick and easy way to preserve and access memories, music and creative content developed over the years.

Great value for the money! Easy to use to access your data from internal hard drive. Does not require any additional software, just plug and access your data!

I have a single tried 2 singles and had problems with my USB handling both. Changed to this use both drives without problems. moves files USB3.0 very well even from one drive to the other. I use them for storage of backups.

It works but they should make it easier to load the SSD disks. I had to push it in hard and was afraid I'd damage the pins on the disk. I'm leaving the drive in the docking station until everything I want on that hard drive has been moved to my desktop computer. Large file movement is average. Small files move fast.

I always seem to have several used and loose hard drives laying around. This docking station is perfect for just pluging them in and checking to see what is stored on them.

I was able to use this to get access to my laptops hard drive data. It allowed me to save all my pics, but I did have to buy an additional case to insert the drive so it would fit in the port.

This toaster worked well for me when trying to transfer files from my old hard drive to an external drive. Recommended to me by in-store geek squad.

This docking bay works really well even though it is only a USB device (maybe that's a "universal" benefit") I had a previous Voyager model that had Firewire outputs, but which would no longer be recognized by anything, PC or Mac. This one works really well !
