Lifesaver

Worked so easily that I bought a huge hard drive as a backup drive and keep it in the dock.

Easy to load old hard drive data onto a new PC.

I took it to the Geek Squad, who came back with the grim news. But they said the hard drive was still OK. They suggested this item to make it easy to bring all my old files to the new PC. It was easy as pie.

Life saver

Just put the old hard drive in one of the slots and the new computer reads the file like it would from an external source such as a flash drive or cd.

Looks like a 2-slice toaster, but does the job!

HDD docking station

Worked perfect

On Mac, I needed software to read a linux disk (I used "extFS for Mac") but the docking station worked perfect...totally tolerant of plugging the disk in/out, which I did a lot.

Hard Drive Toaster

But it does work great for easily connecting 2.5" or 3.5" drives to your computer. Haven't had any issues with it. Highly recommend!

Does the job
