I had two decisions to make. 1. get a detachable 4tb hard disk or 2. get this docking station and get a separate HDD. went with 2 and have since not regretted it. Will give an update to this after a few more weeks.

this unit works like it should. Hopefully it will last longer then the last one I purchased from best buy.

This little guy is awesome! It works fast copied everything I needed from a failing Hard Drive. I love that it has a USB-C plug on it.

I was looking for a way to use my old hard drives. It works great on the ones I've tried so far.

Never had one before, but already can see the usefulness. Plug in two hard drives and/or one USB flash drive and they appear on your computer and are useful. Copying. Downloading older drives. Drive repair. Lots of uses. Quality seems good.

Had a single single docking station, got this to increase my storage capacity and transfer data from a 1TB hard drive to a SSD. Worked great...have no complaints.

This item worked great transering and cloning data between drives. I would definitely recommend!

I was asked by my late Grandpa to fix his computer which had a failing spinning hard drive. This dock helped me safely clone his data to a new drive. Rest In Peace, Chief - your laptop is still going strong.

This docking station station allowed me to recover files from an old hard drive from my old desktop computer. Even though the computer died, the hard drive lives on.

Need a fancy device to transfer files and/or wipe a disk with DBAN before recycling. This will do that and won't be fussy. Worked well on windows, Mac and Linux

The original 500gb hard drive crashed on my iMac after 9 years. Up to that point I had been contemplating upgrading to SSD but it was so expensive. I had done a backup a couple years prior to the crash, but I still had about 250gb of information that was important. I brought my Mac to a specialist and found out right away the hd was beyond repair. The recommendation was $300 to install a 2tb SSD. I still had a problem adapting the old hd to access the files without having to take the computer apart. I found the right person at Best Buy who led me to this hd docking station. I was able to access the files needed and was able to move them over to the new SSD. Thank you, I love it!

Worked really well to reimage a couple HDDs to SSDs for our PCs. Didn't notice any software for that but it worked with the utilities from our drives without issue. Would buy again if the price was the same as online or lower.

I bought this to transfer everything from my old hard drive to my new SSD hard drive. It worked well and was surprisingly fast using the 3.0 USB.

This product was very easy to setup and just as easy to use. It is very simple and isn't flashy..I guess if they added rgb or could be better... but I don't seethat happening so i guys we'll have to make do for now

Great product 2nd one I bought easy to use especially the way computers are getting obsolete keep hard drive trash hardware!
