It works good. It has a spot for both sizes and works well.

Able to get excellent data transfer speeds over USB 3 with both 2.5" laptop SATA drives/SSDs and 3.5" SATA desktop drives. Useful for copying data off of bare drives or drives removed from PCs. My only gripe is that this drive dock doesn't support S.M.A.R.T. reporting, which makes this dock much less useful as a workbench tool for diagnosing multiple hard drives in a convenient manner like I originally intended. TL;DR: It's useful for the average user looking to copy data from and old drive, but not as useful on a workbench for a trained repair tech like me.
