    After doing some research, this was the best in-wall surge protector that I found. I was looking for something with a high Joule rating and at 1080 Joules for only $40, this was it...highly recommended!

    Haven't been able to use this surge outlet yet. Was hoping to plug my refrigerator into this it when pulled out to paint kitchen. However Painter said it would not fit in existing outlet.

    The embedded surge protector is an excellent way to save space and not have an extra apparatus taking up space. Works well and gives me the peace of mind I was seeking when I bought the product for my big screen tv, Roku, and home theater equipment.

    Bought 2; one for the kitchen bar and one for my son’s room by his desk. We frequently have our laptop on the kitchen bar. In both locations replacing the regular outlet with this surge outlet makes it look much cleaner by not having a separate surge protector. Perfect solution!

    this works in a conventional wall box. this is a recommended buy and will save your tv from a brown out during the summer when the electrical system is taxed

    I wish I could install this for all my electronics. I don't like the surge protector strips. Yeah there great for multi plug-ins but there bulky. This looks clean and more professional.

    I purchased these outlets for added protection for my tvs. Lightning struck my home and the outlet protected my tv from blowing out. I would recommend this product.

    I used 2 of these for a TV wall mount which is recessed in the wall between the studs to hide the mounting/swivel structure. There was not room for traditional surge protectors and these units fit perfectly in the outlet junction boxes.

    I bought a tv and I did not want one of those big bulky surge protectors taking up all the room, so I bought this 2-Outlet In-Wall Surge Protector , it does the job of the big guys with out any clutter

    The cover screws are hard to remove at first and the outlet is bulky i have to change the outlet boxes, but they are working fine
