I ran into trouble in the field when working on my Xray machine. My Ethernet switch died and I couldn’t find anything that ran on the 24VDC OEM power terminal block. Luckily I found a local Best Buy with this adapter and a small 5 port Ethernet switch. I cut this adapter in half and added ferrules to the exposed wires in order to plug into my 115VAC terminal block. I used this to power up my non OEM Ethernet switch and got my machine back up and running! Customer was happy that down time was minimal.

This plug not only gave me that little extra reach I needed to plug in my fan, but it also freed up an outlet so I could plug something else in at the same time. Works well, no issues. I recommend it if it meets your needs!

Construction and materials used look durable. Best if you need one additional socket but dont want the hassle of having long wires and big unit from extensions.

Lightweight and small enough to put in a suitcase. Simple and helpful tech when you are traveling there is not enough plugs in a hotel.

One of the finest Insignia has to offer. Just be sure that you arent pulling too much current. I have a few of these stacked for some 12v3a inverters and they do great. There are no downsides to this liberator. The only thing is cant do is fix US healthcare. I would recommend this to anyone for an extra plug, just make sure you are pulling low current. This isnt to add a microwave and toaster to a single receptacle.

What a simple trick.... Inexpensive.... Perfect solution for limited UPS battery backup plugs.... Now I can add ac bricks to my small UPS. The thru plug keeps the original plug available even though a brick is plugged into the same socket. Shortness and 90 degree twist is perfect for this application.

Very easy to use and cheap, love these things! If you're short an outlet or have one that needs to fit a brick-sized adapter this is perfect! Easy to stash somewhere and use when you need it most, also great for things that slide out of an outlet since they fit snug and anything plugged into them are held very tightly.

What can I say, it's an outlet extender. But for just a few bucks these are definitely worth having for wrangling a bunch of beefy cables.

Insignia plug liberator is a great way to increase usability of power outlets. The short cord enables larger plug ins to get away from other oulets instead of covering them.
