Perfect size, great quality, great price. They also include brackets which is great if I want to use outside at the deck

They are lacking bass but with a sub they would sound really good for their size.

Set these up in my garage, they sound good. I also bought a set of out door Yamaha speakers that blow these away. NOW with that being said these cost $39 & the Yamaha speakers were $139. Soooooo, you get what you pay for. They are crisp highs, but not much lows and base, keep in mind I am comparing these to a much better and more expensive set. These are great, they fill up my garage with sound. Just think I’ll end up upgrading these at a later date.

The sound quality was excellent and hook up was simple and our outside area has great sound.

Seeing the price of these speakers, I kept my expectations well in check. To be honest, I expected these speakers to sound like a cheap boombox, but this in NOT the case at all. They sound very good! There is no emphasis on any particular frequency, the response is smooth, and these little speakers can produce pretty good sound levels with high quality of sound, especially when you use a good source to drive them. Of course, with frequency response starting at 90Hz there is no real bass to speak of, but whatever little "bass" they do produce is well controlled and actually pleasant to listen to. These speakers are not boomy and they will not cause your ears to hurt from ear-piercing highs or mids. I like these little speakers so much, I think I will get another pair to better balance the sound in the backyard. This really is a "best buy". Get them! At this price it's impossible to go wrong.

Picked these up to go inside a Pool Shack. Sound quality isn’t bad but I am running Yamaha natural sound 5” outdoors. These come nothing close to the sound clarity of the Yamaha’s. Not bad and will do the job. If I was rating based on sound quality only I would say 3 stars. Would be great speakers if these were the only ones you were running or used as rears in a surround set up.

Best Buy use to offer a 3-way Indoor/outdoor speaker in a metal cabinet for about the same price - I have three pairs of these older ones as surrounds. Originally I bought this pair for a 2-channel music system and they sound much better (musically) than the older style. Recently, I matched them up with a JBL Loft Center channel speaker and a small sub - they now have a new home! The match with the JBL speaker amazed me creating a seamless stage front for both tv & music in a small room.
